I used to frequent this Chick Fil A on a very regular basis, and I usually don't have any issues. Like any Chick Fil A, the employees are pretty quick about getting food out, and it's normally good food (as far as fast food goes anyway). Lately, however, this has not been the case. I just stood in line for 20 minutes while the two workers behind the counter took their time taking a few orders before both going to spend 5 minutes putting food in bags, ignoring those still waiting to order. I watched as one of them came out from behind the counter and started whiping down surfaces that didn't even seem to be dirty before going back behind the counter again. Finally, a third employee joined the first two, and they took care of 3 customers in the time it took one of the first two to get done with 1. When I finally ordered, I then had to wait 10 more minutes before I even got my food. The meal was warm, and it was what I ordered, but my sandwich looked like it had been stepped on, just like the last several I've ordered here. Read moreA friend of mine just went in to order some food for me and a group of friends. They have some anxiety issues so they decided to order from the Kiosk to avoid having an episode after a tough day. Quickly after they ordered, several employees began loudly complaining about it being too large and when they finally got it one of the employees practically threw the food at them and ignored their attempts to apologize for the the inconvenience and thank them for the service. Said friend was so upset that they ended up spilling some of our food on the way to the car and almost breaking down on the ride back.
As someone with fast food experience myself, I must say that this was appalling service and that the management at/with this location should be deeply ashamed for permitting this kind of behavior from the people on their payroll. Such a busy location should absolutely not be offering mobile orders, as they can barely keep up with the in-store orders they get. There have been multiple instances where I have waited nearly an hour for a simple, one-combo order. How is that acceptable for a location that is literally on a college campus? Some of us actually need to get to class on time, and that prevents us from going to this location as much/as often as we might like to. Which, of course, loses money for the company.
