The Great: Excellent Faire if you are local. It's free and fun. The Less Than Great: The venue is small, just the town square. A lot of confussion trying to see the shows. Several groups didn't show but they were still on the scedule. The information tent gave wrong information. Not intentionally, they just were not aware. We arrived a half hour before opening and I'm glad we did. It got so crowded by lunch you could barely move. The lines for food were insane. I wanted a Turkey leg but we looked at the line and looked at the legs in their coolers and predicted they would sell out before we could get one, we were right. We left early because we were hungry. We returned Sunday early to see things we missed but left again around lunch.

All in all:
My only complaint is the spacing of vendors and food trucks was abysmal, but we overall had a good time and would love...
Read moreOur family had a good experience at the Renaissance faire this year. We enjoyed seeing all the costumes most everyone was wearing. There were some interesting demonstrations like sparring and metal working. The food vendor section was a decent size, but we ended up ditching the long lines to walk over to a restaurant. The crowd level was intense. It was hard to walk through the faire and keep our group together. I was expecting more from the vendors. There was one with metal swords that we almost too crowded to enter. Another had mushroom hats that cost $250. Jewelry and soap were the most common...
