I attended the Gingerbread Players and The Shoals Community Theatre Proudly Present “A Christmas Story” The Play in Florence, Al Sunday afternoon, it's 40th anniversary! This show was under the direction of Jacob Adams!
The play was about 3 hrs. The tickets, popcorn (salty) and treats were affordable. The play was well performed by both adults and children and had a full house. The bathroom accommodations were sparse compared to the attendees. The area outside of the theater was crowded before and once everyone left their seats at intermission (needs to be expanded).

Read moreGreat experience! I can’t wait to go back and enjoy another show put on by Shoals Theatre. They worked hard and put on a fabulous production. Highly recommend. They have a concession area that accepts cash and cards, serving popcorn, candy, drinks, beer, and wine. The bathrooms are located downstairs by the concessions and upstairs in the back. Elizabeth Ragsdale did fabulous!
