I recently needed to have the watchband on my Citizen Solar powered watch repaired and was referred to CREATIVE JEWELERS (in downtown Florence, Al) by a friend. The salesperson, Taylor Schweighardt, was extremely nice and told me they generally did not do watch repair, however he asked me what I needed. I explained that the clasp kept opening while on my wrist and I was unable to wear it for fear of losing it. Since the repair was not on the watch itself but only on the band he attempted to repair it right then but was unsuccessful. However, he offered to call Citizen and find out if he could get a replacement band (witch he didn't have to do). He called me the next day and said that Citizen had discontinued that specific band and they had nothing comparable. Since that was the case, I told him he might as well just dispose of the watch since there was nothing else that could be done. I thanked him for going out of his way to do everything he could to salvage my watch. At home I got on line and considered purchasing a new watch but changed my mind since I had another less expensive watch I could wear as a replacement until I could purchase something better. Two days passed and Taylor had called and left me a message to call him. When I did he had good news. He and the owner of the shop (Billy) had put their heads together and figured out how to repair the band. I was so surprised, I was speechless! I went to get it the next day and asked how much I owed them and they said no charge. I insisted on paying them but they said no, but any referrals would certainly be appreciated. They were both so friendly and easy to relax with. As we were going through everything piece by piece, I grew confident in Brandi’s expertise and saw the meticulous attention to detail she had placed on each item and she was explaining the whole process to me without making me feel dumb. I left thinking it’d be a couple of months to get all that paperwork completed and back to our family but I was wrong. Just a few short weeks later I was sending all the appraisals to our insurance company. They were professional, courteous, reasonably priced, and totally won lifetime customers from our family. Brandi was amazing!! She went above and beyond to help us!! We were turned down at another jewelry store to resize our engagement ring due to diamonds on the sides. Creative Jewelers took on our ring and did a flawless job resizing - you can’t even tell!

We also had some misinformation from the company we ordered our ring from online which Brandi and Billy both came in on their day off to explain in great detail since they would be going out of town and I was only available to pick the ring up on that Saturday. They didn’t have to do that and we greatly appreciate them coming in instead of leaving us hanging with questions.
