El Dos Agaves Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Florence

My wife stopped for dinner there for the first time last night. We were well pleased. They had just finished a remodel and everything was very sharp and clean.

Started off with their salsa, which was better than most, and some of their guacamole, which was really very good. The chips were thin, hot and crunchy! I love it. They have salt and pepper on the table so that you can salt your chips. Something I haven’t seen since the start of Covid.

She had a dish called a little bit of everything that was so big that it came on two plates and I had traditional street tacos, Carne Asada with cilantro and onions that were very good. Mine also came with Charro beans, which were as good as any,...

I was so disappointed with the food and service our waitress was so sweet she did her best to make sure we were okay and to fix the problems the kitchen did to our dishes. We ordered a shrimp michelada and the shrimp were raw legit raw and spoiled they weren’t even cooked they were cold and raw and just one bite you can instantly know it was horrible even the smell was horrid. When our dishes came out one of the dishes was not made correctly asked for beans got rice had to wait longer then a few dishes were missing garnish. Am so disappointed and wouldn’t be coming again. The atmosphere walking in was like stepping into a different world. You feel the culture and the fun spirit throughout the building. The service was incredible- quick and friendly! The food was also delicious and came out in no time. Everyone worked as a team to make sure we were well taken care of.
