Locals Grill — Restaurant in Florence

It was nearly $60 to feed a family of four with only one appetizer, and the food just wasn't good. It wasn't inedible, but it was bad enough that I'm taking the time to write my first review of a restaurant. Between the four of us, we were all able to try some of the vinegar based BBQ, sweet BBQ, a burger, a hotdog(the chili looked like it came straight out of a can and wasn't even warm), chicken, fries and chili cheese fries. We were all so disappointed that not only did none of us finish our food, but we didn't even bother boxing it up to take home. Other than ordering your food and having it brought to your table, you have no more interaction with the staff. You refill your own drinks and clean your own table. Between the high-priced, lackluster food and lack of service, we'll definitely be saving our money and appetite for a different restaurant...

Went in to pick up food for family members that love the food here. I love Philly Cheese Steaks, so they recommended me to find something to order as well. First time in, staff stares at me and only reluctantly takes my order. I considered just leaving even while I'm standing at the counter while they just look at me and do other tasks without even acknowledging that they'll take my order soon. I see them be hospitable with other customers, so it was only aimed at me. I ordered nothing for myself. I will never be stepping foot in a place with such negative treatment for new customers. Locals is ONLY for the regulars. My service deserves a negative rating. They get higher than the minimum, because at least the food...

2 Philly cheese steaks one regular and on chicken, steak was best in town so far 5 stars, the chicken philly was 3 stars due to the fact it's chunk chicken and until someone figures a way to get a nice sliced peice of chicken instead of chunks it's just chicken on a roll with...(chicken chunks were cooked well/good though). The Hamburger, plain was five stars with out all the goop, lettuce, tomato, onion, it didn't need it! Looking forward to coming back to try out some other items on the menu, (kinda like I eventually will get tired of the same things ,maybe, lol) Cheers Best in...
