Vibez 843 Bar and Lounge — Restaurant in Florence

I think that this place has potential to become my favorite spot whenever I get a chance to have some grown and sexy adult time outside of being in “Mommy Mode”. My friend and I went this past Monday for poetry open mic night and I was not disappointed. First of all, Ms.Tonya (the host for the night) is EVERYTHING! She was super friendly and very hospitable. She’s very intelligent and her energy is amazing. I get nervous going into new public settings with my hearing impairment, but she was so welcoming and spoke at a volume that was perfect without even knowing my situation. I love poetry but it’s the open discussions that I’d come back for. The place is beautiful, and the energy was very inviting and eclectic! Being an empath, I definitely appreciated that part the most! The kitchen isn’t open during that particular time frame, so I can’t say anything about the kitchen and ordering food part, but with the negative reviews on that part and then having only one cook, I’ll probably just eat before I go next time so that I don’t have to have any issues with that. It is a freshly opened business, so I would advise anyone going to not be so critical as there is always things that a business has to kind of sort out and get right with trial and error in the early stages. I would recommend a suggestion box for Vibez843 just so that customers can offer healthy feedback, and they can see what areas may or may not be working and need improvement. My experience was horrible. First, we made reservations and when we arrived, the hostess quoted us a price for the booth we wished to be seated in, only to find out later that the price we were quoted was for ONE couch on ONE side of the booth. When we asked to speak with the owner regarding the miscommunication, he refused. Let me be clear. The issue was NOT the price. We were willing to pay whatever price we needed to in order to secure the booth. But the owner was very disrespectful and sent a message to us via the hostess that “his price was his price” when we asked to speak to him, when our issue was never the price. Next, it took 3 hours for us to receive our food and the order wasn’t even correct when we received it. Nothing was done to accommodate us as a a result of the mistake. We had been seated since 7:15pm. I didn’t receive my WRONG order until after 10:00pm. The wait staff here is commendable. They charged two young ladies who was waiting on someone in the facility 30 dollars each to come in and use the bathroom that is highway robbery they were underage they were honest and told your security the truth then then one of the young ladies urinated on her self because she has a bladder issue and your staff didn't let them go they had to wait but you charged them $30 each to pee when your security could have took them to the bathroom for free.
