Best sweet rolls, ever!!! (UPDATE!!! visted 7/12/2024 I was so pleased that I was able to enjoy the Collards and cabbage, meat loaf, Mac & Cheese, all I tasted were not salty this time!, oh, please keep this up! ❤️. The dessert rolls were nice, but the yeast rolls were under cooked, I didn't ask waitress to bring more rolls.) But as for the bar TOO SALTY! Please reduce the amount of SALT you put in! I was unable to eat your otherwise delicious Collard Greens, grilled pork chops, okra and tomatoes, cabbage, brown gravy, bbq chicken, Now I didn't taste everything on the bar so management needs to look at all dishes. Reminder: Salt and pepper is on every table and can be very easily increased as a person desires. You serve many seniors who rely on you several days a week who have health issues requiring them to watch their salt intake. Now, I do expect you to serve seasoned foods, but in some cases, like the Collard Greens, you need to drastically reduce the salt! We know that there were several others who also made this same complaint. This is not the 1st time my hysband and I have made this complaint. We actually hadn't visited in awhile because of this, but tried you once again. PLEASE fix the SALTY issue. So pleased you had baked the breads longer, they were yummy this time.

Wheelchair accessible. Faith was the host at the register who explained everything to us on our 1st visit. Drink selections seemer slim but selections of food and salad bar were plentiful, and Quincy also had added options of adding on more meal selections (steak, shrimp, ect). They have a kids menu and kids 3 & under eat free. Kids eat free on Monday nights which was a surprise to us. Nigeria was one of the employees in dining and oh my word, she made us feel like VIPs. She not only was polite, professional and efficient...she went the extra mile to check on us, offer to get us drinks, took plates... It was a busy night but she must have assisted us minimum of 5 times. She really made our first experience welcoming and we will most likely make this one of our go-yo restaurants in the future. She is young but had such great work ethic and a sweet attitude that even my kids were fond of here real quick. Would def recommend this place. Saw several customers taking to-go boxes as well. The dessert bar was a sweet ending to our visit. Bathrooms were well-maintained and clean as well. Thank you Faith, Nigeria and all the staff that made our visit a very pleasant one.

I was really excited to go and eat here because I haven't been to a Quincy in YEARS. The closet one to me is hours away. I get here and the 2 ladies who rang us up were friendly and helpful even tho the computer gave them trouble. I don't down them for that because computers don't always cooperate. We sat at a booth and as soon as I sat down (far right 2nd booth to the end) the seat sank in and I almost fell. I'm guessing it wasn't installed back in correctly because as soon as I pulled it out some I was able to sit on it with no problem. The food was OK. Not what I remember and no where near the quality you would think it should be. ALSO, our server was tweaking bad! For the sake of her I won't release her name since she was actually showing up for work but something should be done because that's not a good sight for kids or family and is also a liability. She even dropped a handful of plates/food while cleaning when we were there. The overall experience was not what I was expecting and did not live up to what it used to be. I will not be a returning customer.

Wow - visiting Quincey's was like taking a trip back to 20 years ago. We were concerned about eating here while visiting Florence, SC because when we stepped up to our turn to pay going in, the cashier looked at us but didn't didn't acknowledge or greet us while she was opening a pack of pennies and a pack of dimes into the cash drawer. She would look us in the eye occasionally but didn't say anything, didn't smile or let us she would be with us soon - not friendly at all. This went on for about 5 minutes or more while the line backed up behind us. We had just witnessed her be very pleasant to the family she rang up just before us. Finally, she closed her drawer, pulled a receipt off and looked at us again. She didn't say a word to us. My husband ordered, she still never said a word to us. She handed him a receipt. He started to walk off with our tray but I said, "wait, she has to give us plates." She just looked at me, no movement. I said, "may we have the plates?" She handed 4 plates over, again without a word but acted like we were annoying her.

The food and waitress was excellent. Manager, look what I've wrote about first. Poor customer service experience and then the food quality. Restaurant dining is about experience as much as it is about quality food. I'll probably forget how good the food was yesterday as I dine at other restaurants over the next few weeks into months but I will NEVER forget how my husband and I were treated at this location by your cashier, Danell 3/12/2022 at 13:37:39 on terminal **9639. That memory will linger with us longer than what the food was like. Please make sure your front line folks are pleasant and acknowledge ALL of your customers. I will avoid visiting this restaurant for 6 months just so my money does not contribute to her pay check knowing how she treated us.

Other than her poor attitude and lack of customer service or communication, we would love to visit again when we come thru Florence as long as she isn't there. I will update my review upon my next visit.

** I advise any other customers to report poor customer service for this location. Lunch for 2, $38.46. Why would you pay that price to be...

I would like to share with how our dining experience this evening was.

First, after asking for sweetener for our tea twice, we finally went up to the counter to request some. A total of six employees walked right by us ( It was quite obvious that we needed something) and no one even made eye contact. After someone finally acknowledged me, our waitress magically showed up, snatched the sweetener out of the lady being helpful's hands and took it to our table. The service we received tonight was the absolute worst we have ever received after dining there for many years.

Second, the food tonight was anything but edible. The fried chicken was tough and cold, the greens weren't cooked completely and were very chewy and the pork chop was like shoe leather. I could barely cut it and found it impossible to chew.

Last but definitely not least, the flies. There were so many flies on the inside of the window next to us that I couldn't wave my napkin at them fast enough to get them away. There was a fly strip on the front window right by one of the booths that was completely covered with dead flies. You couldn't even see the strip due to the number of flies. What a wonderful view when trying to eat a supper that we paid $60 for. To top the evening off, before we could even attempt to finish our meal, a fly landed on our table and then proceeded to flop all over it in front of us. The fly wasn't even able to fly off. Just bounced all over the table. That was the final straw. We got up and left our full plates sitting right there on the table.

This was the most disgusting visit we have had anywhere and definitely won't be back!!! Things have definitely gone downhill in the past few months which is sad as this was one of our favorite...

I have not been to this restaurant in YEARS! So our family decided to try something different for a change. Surprisingly the food was really good. We all had the buffet so as of now I can't speak on the steaks and other menu items. I was very pleased. I also did not realize that this Quincys location in Florence SC is the ONLY Quincys left in the entire US franchise (or former franchise that is). With that said I guess I can say it's a historic site as well. We went on a Sunday during lunch and the buffet was fully stocked considering the crowd. The restaurant was clean upon entry and in the seating areas. Gloves are required when getting food from the buffer. One of the waitresses in our area kept the tables and floors cleaned and vacuumed regularly. As for our waitress she only came to our table ONCE and we never saw her again until we noticed the she was sitting at a table in the back corner on her cell phone and folding silverware and napkins. She never cleaned our table off, never took any dirty plates, we never got refills on our drinks, I had to go to the kitchen area myself and ask for more plates. She stayed on the phone for at least 30 mins after we finally realized where she was. She was still on her cell phone after we left the restaurant. I'm still giving the restaurant 5 stars because I could tell that the other waitresses were very attentive to their customers so I won't let one bad apple spoil the bunch as they say. Overall this is an excellent choice for a buffet and needless to say we...
