Starbucks — Restaurant in Florence

The atmosphere at this Starbucks is pleasant, and the employees are generally friendly. I appreciate that my mobile orders are consistently ready by the time I arrive, which is convenient since I live just a few minutes away. However, like other Starbucks locations, there are occasional issues with order accuracy.

My main concern with this location is the poorly designed drive-through and parking lot layout. The parking lot exit is positioned right at the beginning of the drive-through, leading some drivers to mistake it for the entrance. This often causes congestion and can even block people from exiting the drive-through. Additionally, the actual entrance to the parking lot is inconveniently placed—you have to drive behind the store, enter a neighboring business’s parking lot, and then access Starbucks’ parking lot. You NEVER know when this Starbucks is going to be open or closed. There is never any notice that this location may not be open and they change their hours all of the time. One day I placed a mobile order and went to pick it up and the doors were locked but the employees were inside. Another person showed up wanting to get his drink that he placed in the app for pick up. They would not give us our drinks that we paid for that day .... meanwhile another employee showed up with a bunch of food for the employees that were inside. Why is it okay for this business to close in the middle of the afternoon? Or change there hours whenever they feel like it? Sometimes they will put up a sign “Sorry, we will not be open today :(“ this doesn’t seem very professional!! By the looks of things the customers that showed up to a closed Starbucks today...

I have been here multiple times since this location has popped up and have nothing but good things to say about both the employees and the service they provide. They have always been friendly and are more than happy to fix orders if they just so happen to make a mistake- which rarely happens btw. I have seen some negative reviews here about this Starbucks but am confused as to why this is the case because everyone I know genuinely enjoys coming to this location and some have even build friendships with the workers due to their kindness to customers and excitement to see familiar faces. I will be coming here a lot and am not planning on slowing down anytime soon. Good job...
