THE LOFT DOWNTOWN BAR & GRILL — Restaurant in Florence

I like this place, but it's missing a few beats. I am writing this review as someone that has worked in the food industry for years. The prices, food, clean bathrooms, and cozy environment are the best things this place has going although the menu is a bit limited. The owner/cook cared alot about providing me with satisfactory food. The staff is friendly but you have to engage them first, and they clearly have no training in customer service. There were several TVs, but I wouldn't say the establishment serves well as a sports bar. At least one of the TVs has a rather annoying echo. The bar setup needs significant improvement. Quit stocking bottles of juice on the floor. Cranberry juice poured from a grenadine bottle is not a good look. There are two bars but the bar in the back is the main bar. The host who greeted us at the door was very friendly and so was the waitress who took our order 5 minutes before the kitchen closed. It was 6 of us who ordered food and drinks. It was late and the food was honestly good except for "one" order was wrong. The manager /owner was extremely rude. When the person explained what she thought she ordered versus what she received he he rudely asked at least 3 times " did you read the menu" she stated I asked the waitress . He stood over me continuing to be rude and eventually picked up the container and walked off. Well, today, me and 5 other friends decided to do to The Loft. Everything we ordered, they didn’t seem to have. I ordered loaded tots, they did have, I ordered ranch sauce, they didn’t have, I ordered lemon pepper wings, they didn’t have, I ordered garlic Parmesan wings and buffalo wings with a side of fries. Well, they were short staffed, one cook, and the owner was in the kitchen. Smh I got fries 1st and about 40 min later my wings came. I’m full off fries. My friends didn’t get their crab legs until 1.5 later after ordering, and 2 of them never received their order. When the crab leg order came they did put the eggs in it and them the eggs were cooking. But wait, shouldn’t the eggs have been with the crab legs? lol I’m not even upset, just...
