My wife and I needed something to do on the way home from vacation. We found this museum and thought it would be the perfect stop; unfortunately, this museum is like a warm fart. You have no idea what your getting. We went in and it was clean and organized, yet they cleaned it so well there was hardly anything displayed. The art exhibit available can be walked through in 10 seconds. The history portion is about the same. Maybe I could have pushed my time in there for 10 minutes (if I could read), besides the gas station beaver there is legit nothing to do in this state - that is if your not willing to pay 10 dollars for parking, 20 dollars for entry, and 5 dollars...

Museum covers broad aspects of Florence County history including: the rise of Tobacco as the regions main cash crop, the growth of Florence due to its status as a railroad hub and junction for two interstates, the growth of industry including; Dupont, Honda, Thermo Fisher, QVC, Ruiz Foods and Harbor Freight.
