Having been in the hospitalty industry for over 15 years i will tell it to you honestly. The hostess was condescending and quite fake in her smile and tone. We felt like outsiders from the start.. we were seated at the bar after making reservations for two days prior. We were seated next to a party of eight that grew as our experience unfolded. Drunk, loud and obnoxious are an undersatement. No food, just an endless supply of alcohol that fueled these morons to dropping F bombs and spresding an overall feeling of an afterwork TGIF Friday's dining excursion which only got worse.. Our server was monotone and quite rushed it seemed and provided little assistance or interest in making our selections for dinner.. The menu was convoluted with one page serving entrées with sides and abother with ala carts entrées and " sharable " sides.. We chose ribeyes with sides and off we went. Table side bread offered was good , or what we had of it, because it was taken off our table with the servers next visit, one of only three for the night.. Ceasar salad was decent but in a bowl made for a six year olds cereal on saturday morning.. The steaks came next.... The look was great and thats the extent. THEY WERE FATTY AND THAT EXTENDED THRU THE ENTIRE STEAK. Mine was manageable but my wife's was stricken with obesity by the looks. We informed our 20 something hostess as to the state of it and we were informed thats how ribeyes are served. Sure they are.. Seeing as how her worldly experience with food probably started and finishes with her employer, we knew better.. IMMEDIATELY ,It was as if we made a grave mistake, because we were made to feel very uncomfortabe after stating what anyone else would have.. server disappeared, hostess huffed, either at our discontent or her shiny face and disheveled look.. Aside from the steak, sides were dry and overcooked , ( think cracker barrel in the window too long).. The wifes asparagus was young and quite unimpressive.. MEANWHILE THE DRUNKS NEXT TO US GREW TO TWELVE OR FOURTEEN..PROFANITY FOR EVERYONE WAS THE THEME FOR THE EVENING APPARENTLY.. The only saving grace for the event was the BOH manager who was overly nice and tried his best to salvage our dinner.. we received a couple filet medallions as a parting gift.. Plenty more to write but to cut it short, the 120 dollar check for two was laughable.. it was our first and last time at Vic's but i would recommend anyone on the fence about dining here to think twice.. Burger King is...

Awesomely disappointing . . .
We were excited to see that Victor's offered an enhanced version of it brunch for Easter Sunday and made reservations to be sure to have seating on time.
Arriving a bit early we expected a brief wait at the bar where my partner and I had an icy cold (and robustly priced) local IPA and glass of Malbec. When we hadn't been called after 30 minutes I inquired at the hostess station. We were seated promptly after.
We were invited to serve ourselves from the buffet. We found the Garden Fresh Salad Bar to consist of a depleted bowl of spinach and chopped romaine. The house Caesar and Italian dressings were delicious. I found little or no lump crab in my devilled eggs but they were still tasty. The potato salad was excellent as well.
Roasted and herbed Spring vegetables was in reality stir fried zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli and bell peppers. The promised scalloped potatoes never appeared sadly and the rice was tender but hardly pilaf as I know it. I can't tell if it was Carolina Gold and the gravy was missing the kick from the promised sweet onions.
And now the real kicker. The entire promised entrees were absent. Thyme and Honey Glazed Neuskie's Heritage Ham was replaced by generic spiral sliced boneless ham, Braised Wagyu Beef Brisket with Bourbon Peach Glaze didn't exist. There was a platter of grilled rib-eyes offered; the server freely admitted he had no idea how they were cooked. Mine was medium rare but my partners was well, well done. The Pork Roulade with Pistachio Mortadella and Wild Mushroom Duxelles sounded fantastic! Unfortunately we will never know since there was none offered.
There were suppose to be all these delicious sounding desserts and the only thing when we got there was the bread pudding! They finally brought out 2 plates of brownies, which we were able to get one and a sad looking piece of tart.
The coffee was good and bottle of Malbec we purchased was very nice. Now it was only $20.00 per person but the meal was not at all what was advertised. They took reservations so they had a total head count of who was being served. There is no excuse for not having enough portions for everyone.
It was an enjoyable enough experience and the service was great. Certainly it did not meet our...
Read moreWe had our rehearsal dinner here on 11/5/2021 and it was unfortunately pretty disappointing. We were excited because our wedding coordinator who’s from the area said it would be great, but it was… well, not. When our party arrived, we were waved toward our reserved space, but no one gave us any direction or told us when our server would be coming out. We aimlessly wandered around the space for a good 20 minutes before going to the bar to see if we could be served. We were met with irritation that we were at the bar and were ushered back outside, but still not given any direction or explanation of what we should expect from the evening. Servers eventually came out but didn’t introduce themselves. Only one server was in uniform, which struck me as unprofessional. The food tasted good but they were definitely stingy servings. The trays were quickly emptied and it took a long time for food to be replaced, then it was quickly not replaced at all. Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand I didn’t pay for an all you can eat buffet, but I paid about $50 a person (more than my wedding catering) — and that was with pasta as main courses — so the amount of food that was available was almost laughable. I had a couple people actually eat fast food later that night because the portions were small — and I know these people well enough to know they don’t overeat. Everyone was in a rush to leave because of how disappointing the experience was. Maybe they’re better as a sit down restaurant but I certainly wouldn’t recommend doing...
