Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Florence

My son picked up an order that contained a kiddie finger snack, a cobb salad and a Zak meal. The kiddie meal did NOT HAVE THE snack, the Cobb salad had ONE STRIP OF BACON and NO CHICKEN AT ALL. But instead of going back out we tried to make it work. HOWEVER AS MY SON ATE HIS MEAL there was a HAIR IN THE FRIES!!!! My son didn't want to take it back but as I said to him, the other things we could deal with BUT having HAIR IN YOUR FOOD IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND UNSANITARY! After much talking he FINALLY TOOK BACK ONLY HIS MEAL!!!! NOT THE OTHER THINGS THAT WERE WRONG!! JUST HIS MEAL!!! THE "MANAGER" RENEE WOULD NOT REFUND HIS MONEY BECAUSE SHE SAYS HE ATE HALF OF IT. WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN????!!!! THAT IS LITERALLY WHEN HE FOUND THE DAMN HAIR!!!!! NO ONE I KNOW WANTS FOOD BACK AFTER FINDNIG A HAIR!!!!! I MEAN ITS ALREADY SCARY ENOUGH EATING OUT BUT EATING FOOD AFTER YOU COMPLAIN OR TAKE SOMETHING BACK????!!!!! NOT WISE . SHE REFUSED TO GIVE HER " SUPERVISOR NAME BUT SAID IT WAS "SAM" THIS IS UNSANITARY!!!!! AND UNBELIEVABLE THAT SHE ACTUALLY REFUSED HIS REFUND!!!!! IM SURE HAD HE BEEN A WHITE MALE SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY TO REFUND! ITS ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. HE COULD VERY WELL TAKEN ALL THE FOOD BACK BECAUSE THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH EACH ITEM HE ORDERED. BUT "RENEE " HAD THE THOUGHT PROCESS TO MAKE HIM SEEM DISHONEST IN SOME WAY????? WHO IS GOING TAKE TIME TO DO THAT???? HE HAD OTHER REASONS HE COULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE RETURNED THE ENTIRE ORDER!!! BUT THE HAIR WAS TOTALLY AND ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! I HAVE BEEN TO THAT LOCATION AND HAVE WITNESSED ORDERS BEING REFUNDED BUT SHE TAKES ISSUE WITH HIM EATING WHAT SHE DEEMED AS HALF???????. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE AND UNREAL! BECAUSE I ATE SOME OF THE SALAD WE KNEW WE WEREN'T GOING TO RETURN THAT BUT SHOULD HAVE ..THE DAMN CHICKEN IS WHAT MAKES THE SALAD WORTH EATING BUT IT HAD ONLY ONE STRIP OF BACK..ALL THE BACK PIECES OF LETTUCE WHICH AFTER I PICKED ALL THAT OUT THERE WAS HARDLY ANYTHING LEFT TO EAT....BUT " RENEE " QUESTIONS WHEN HE FOUND THE DAMN HAIR????? SHE WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THAT THAN THE ACTUAL PROBLEM WHICH WAS THE HAIR ITSELF.... ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE, UNSANITARY AND UNBELIEVABLE. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. AND THE AUDACITY TO REFUSE TO GIVE INFORMATION!!!!!

WHILE AT THE ZAXBY ON IRBY LAST WEEK THERE WAS A LEAD OR SUPERVISOR WITH A RED PONYTAIL THAT HE/SHE WORE OUT OF THE BACK OF THE CAP, AS CUSTOMERS STOOD WAITING TO MAKE THEIR ORDERS THIS PERSON STARTED UNPACKING A BOX RIGHT AT THE COUNTER BEHIND WHERE ORDERS ARE MADE AND ORDERS ARE PICKED UP.. HE/SHE TOOK A CARBON DIVIDER OUT OF THE BOX AND SIMPLY THREW IT OVER THE COUNTER WHERE WE WERE STANDING!!!! HE/SHE DIDN'T LOOK BACK OR EVEN APOLOGIZE...IM SURE THESE THINGS CAN BE SEEN ON CAMERAS... THE FOLKS HAVE THE WORSE DAMN ATTITUDES TO BE HANDLING PEOPLE FOOD!!!!!!!!!!! THIS INCIDENT WAS LAST THURSDAY AT THE IRBY LOCATION BY THE FLORENCE BAPTIST TEMPLE!!!!!! THERE IS NO RESPECT OR DECENCY. WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING WITH OUR FOOD with these horrible...

We walked in the door at 8:10 pm. The food took a bit of time to be ready, maybe 15 min. We did dine in. There were two people inside eating. One car waiting at the window, one paying in the drive thru and 4 more behind it. On the plus side when we did get our food it was piping hot. Like temperature wise, almost too hot for compsumtion... glad we got drinks. The music (new country music) was a little loud. Maybe it was to drain out the kitchen staff. The ladies were very friendly and hospitable unlike our home store. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to play a random music station to adapt to the taste of all customers. Other than these small issues it was an overall good visit. I was extremely enthused as to how lit the parking lot was. Kudos to this particular store manager. 👏

P.S. I have an egg allergy and my wife has a gluten allergy. It sure would be nice for there to be vegan and gluten free options on the menu. These options might bring more customers...

I am a truck driver who stop here everytime I am running I-95...Park next door at truck stop and walk 1/4 mile to get food from here. Zackbys does have good food but I will never spend my money with this place again. I understand covid19 has people scared but this place has 12 to 15 employees working and only allowing 3 customers inside to order then we the customer has to wait outside for our food. Now let me make this real clear we truckers haul the food you eat,the clothes you wear the supplies your house and your restaurant is built with but we are not good enough to wait inside while our food is being made.Did I mention we also contribute to your income. If you are a trucker please don't do business with this location until they apologize and treat us...
