Worst service ever! Waiting for 25 minutes when told it would be 10..... booths and tables were open all over the restaurant! When we were sat in one of the open booths the waitress brought over our silverware with a carrot on the knife. I asked for a sweet tea with no lemon..... was brought a tea with 2 lemon slices floating inside my drink! When ordering neither of my children were asked for what side they would like. Our order was very simple with no special instructions •kids corn dog with cheese sticks •kids grilled cheese with cheese sticks •shrimp stir fry with a cup of French onion soup •club house sandwich with fries
Out of all 4 orders 1 was made with no mistakes!!!!

The sandwich wasn't even toasted on 1 side!
The waitress never even checked to see after the order was brought out if everything was good. The manager got to hear it as he brought out the sad food. The grilled cheese was remade. And the soup was rushed out saying it had just been missed when they were bringing food out. Which was a lie because the cheese was not even crusted or bubbling or brown from being under the broiler. Nothing was ever done about the sandwich or the fries. The richest just blame the kitchen when speaking to us saying it happened all day and it's not her fault. But yet she's the one who brought me dirty Soho where tea with lemon and it that I ask for no lemon.
The waitress then stood feet from us complaining to the hostess is about everything that has happened. Then a couple minutes later she stood on the other side over by the kitchen and complain to one of the management who then kept staring at my table making it very uncomfortable.
Nothing was even comped Not even a scoop of ice cream for the kids for messing up their order. At the end as we were getting ready to leave the second manager came over and asked how our night had gone when we told him not well at all he goes oh well then I guess have a good week and was ready to walk away before hearing us complain about the service that we had received. During all of this we got to hear the table on all 3 sides of us had missing items on all of their orders! Nothing was done for any of them as well from what the customer had said to me as we were leaving!
We normally love coming to this Applebee's to eat we come at least once a month with my family of four and we always have a very very good outcome...

Upon arriving this evening to a half-filled restaurant, I expected to receive the normal, courteous service I expect at Applebees. WRONG. Our server, Kayla, was rude from the start, mentioning that the ringing cell phone in her apron pocket was a personal cal and then waving myself and my two dinner companions off when we told her we were ready to order. When she did return, I ordered a drink and a glass of water. The drink eventually came, but no water. She was in no hurry to return to our table, so I went to the bar to get the water. When I came back, I passed her and let her know that I had gotten the water myself and that she wouldn't need to. Rather than thank me and tell me she was busy, she thought it best to start an argument, announcing that she had 10 tables and was busy and couldn't we just wait.... Oh no......Again, waiting ...she finally came for our orders. Each of us ordered a burger. She asked each of us if we wanted pink or no pink. My answer was NO pink, please. it must be brown all the way through. Both of my dinner companions ordered pink...each of us ordered different sides and different cheese choices. After the argument, I asked a manager to come over to our table and he informed us he was THE manager ( he never mentioned his name). I explained the situation and requested a different server. he said he was sorry and would talk to "Kayla: and sent over a very nice, different server. When the burgers came, mine was almost raw and one of my companions that had ordered hers pink had the well done burger. As we had ordered different types of cheese, we couldn't just switch. The manager NEVER returned, and the rude waitress never came over to apologize. When the checks arrived, they were all wrong and had to be re-done.....what a disaster, Had they actually been busy, I could understand, but the restaurant was half empty. Read moreI have been going to Applebee's for a very long time. They are always busy, not only on Mother's Day. Trying to celebrate Mother's Day, we decide to choose this restaurant. We understood there would be a waiting period. We were informed by the manager that it would be about a 20 minute wait, which we said was fine. As the manager seated us, he did make a few jokes and was very nice, so definitely no complaints against him. It must have taken 20 minutes before the server asked what we would like to drink. Approximately 45 minutes before we were able to order our food. After an hour and and a half, the server comes over to inform my daughter, they are out of shrimp. Why did it take that long? As my mother and I received our entrees, my daughter had to wait for hers. The server never provided coasters for the drinks or salt and pepper. After sitting for so long, I requested a coffee. When I received it, it was only half full. The server never asked if we would like refills, if the food was okay, or if we needed anything else. My mother's entree was supposed to include gravy, and it didn't. She said it was completely dry. The hostess was unprofessional as she slouched on the podium. She continued to stare at my family and look dumbfounded, when we clearly needed assistance due to our server never coming back. My daughter went to ask her a question, and the hostess was extremely rude to her. The server never asked if we would like dessert or to-go containers. I'm not sure if maybe this person was new, but if that was the case, someone should have helped him out. I'm a delivery person, and stop by Applebee's quite often for my customers. It seems like the day crew is extremely nicer and more professional at their job. I feel like the night crew could care less about how they treat their customers.
