Ardella's Sandwiches and Such — Restaurant in Florida

I've personally ate here once. Was told they mix thier own salad greens together. So I ordered a salad, wrong it was a premix. The person i was with ordered the soup, which tasted like can soup. On another note as a delivery driver, picking up from this place is definitely hit or miss. The manager/owner is very rude. She was rude to me months ago about time frame on pick up, saying I shouldn't be there tX time, which on app the time she said was the time I was suppose to deliver by. I didn't go back for months to deliver. Then today, I picked up 3 large orders within an hour. The last pick up was for 2 orders. I was waiting patiently for second order while first was sitting there. Manager/owner tells me to hit the confirm button. With a double order it's not as easy. So I confirm both. I try to support small businesses and I try not to say anything negative but I will never go back. I felt sick immediately after eating there. I barely made it home when I threw it all up. Understand - the only thing I have ever thrown up to was due to food poisoning. This ruined my entire day - I was stuck home over the toilet instead of getting things done. The sauce for the sweet potato fries was so gross - tasted like rancid tartar sauce - I spit it out immediately and didn’t eat it. The sweet potato fries were ok alone but not worth the price. The soda machine portions were off and so I dumped out the soda and switched to sweet tea - which seemed fine. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese tasted ok but looked like a frozen breaded patty - I expected shredded chicken but that is on me. Since the sandwich is the only thing I ended up eating - I am assuming it was something in that which made me so sick. The place is beautiful and staff great. I ordered a hamburger from them some months ago last year and suffered my first case of many hours of vomiting food poisoning. I decided that since it was as door dash order and hamburger, perhaps I should just avoid anyone’s hamburger that wasn’t a dine in. Today I ordered the Turkey and ham on whole wheat with cheddar cheese. The cheese is definitely not “while milk cheddar”, but a highly processed fake cheese that reminds me of the slices you “peel” from the Kraft American fake and unhealthy cheese “ block” . The “whole wheat” bread was a disgusting, thin and highly processed bread. I think maybe Arby’s fast food sandwiches would be more “wholesome”. I’m very sorry to submit this 1 star review because I feel so strongly about the economic valve social value of small businesses.
