I have to say I am very disappointed I remember when this Spot first open I was there almost weekly because the cupcakes were absolutely delicious to the point I could never make a decision on which flavor I wanted so I would leave there with 6 cupcakes solely for me. Just biting into one you could tell that they were made fresh that day they were so moist and you can tastes each cupcakes unique flavor, The ingredients for top tier. I was excited to receive them, so imagine my dismay when I got these little pretty dry cupcakes. I was surprised and very disappointed, can tell they were not cooked that day. The top of the cupcake had a hard shell up underneath the thick dollop of frosting that guess was supposed to disguise the dryness. There's quite a difference between when they were starting off to now, I also got tinge of saltiness from the sweet potato cupcake which use to be one of my favorites.like maybe there was too much baking soda or powder I'm not a baker but I can eat and that's what it's giving. All 4 were the same dryness with that hard shell in top. The flavor from the red velvet was good, the cookie butter cupcake was not good I don't know if it was because the cupcakes were so dry that I couldn't make out the flavor, but it didn't give cookie butter the flavor was indescribable with a piece of biscoff cookie placed on top. Hopefully, they go back to making the cupcakes freshly every day like they used to if not, I will not be back. Because this is not the first time I have gotten a dry cupcake, my client ordered cupcakes Because of how I raved about this place, but when we got our cupcakes, they were Dry as well I had gotten the Elvis. I've had it many times before and it was delicious but again it tasted salty of some sort of baking powder or soda. It was very off pudding. I didn't even finish that cupcake. Read moreI wish I could write a review about the quality of the desserts provided at this place but I didn’t make it past the extremely poor and rude customer service during the ordering process. The communication was poor to begin with. I was told to email my order with specifics and when I got no reply ( not sure about the response turnaround) I called in to place the order. I spoke to with Megan that afternoon who took my order and quoted the price of the cake. Later that same day I received an email from someone else asking me questions that had already been given and then quoted a different price. I called twice to inquire about the change and pay for the cake. No answer. Later in the evening I received a call stating I was misquoted, this is the new price and could I pay a deposit. In the middle of asking to speak with the boss another girl, Kaley, was placed on the phone without warning or notification. Talk about RUDE ‼️ After ensuing an argument with the customer, I asked that the boss call me. Customers should not have to pay for the error of an employee. Poor Megan they threw her right under the bus. She’s new and was in training. Well where was her trainer when she was taking my order? After being told that if “paying wasn’t a problem what was my issue”, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I couldn’t even trust a cake coming from that place with that staff in place. Out of the 3 orders I have made online ALL have been problematic. 1st order was a delivery and it was incomplete, I had missing cupcakes, even when I added on the instructions to select any cupcake if my options weren’t available. When call you the store they help, but I had to drive to the store to pick up what it was missed… no service recovery just a “sorry for the inconvenience.” The 2nd order I placed it online, come to the store, and the employees was sitting playing/using her phone, my ordered had been received 40min prior. And you guessed it, it was not ready at all, the excuse, we just got the order… does it really take 40 min for an electric transmission of an order??? 3rd order today, Tuesday 10/19, order placed 30 min before pick up, came after the pick up time. Order was not ready, the employee once again, while opening the work phone/electronic said, “oh we just got it, when you put an order we have to wait for her to send it to us”, who is her? It was an electronic order that I am sure transmits automatically without the intervention of an assigned employee waiting for online orders to pop up to then send to the employee. And if that is true, then the system needs to be automated, and notification needs to be improved. I explained the issues to the staff, she got defensive blame it on “her” not sending the order on time and that “it takes the same time if you do it online or at the store.” My reply was, I needed to save time, come and pick up, not come to wait to leave.
