I was very disappointed this evening when I went in with my family. I have been going here often for the last 6 years. I even buy lunch twice a month for my business employees from here. This evening the manager Louie decided that it was more important to feel he was right than pleasing a customer. This is unacceptable in my book.
When we placed our order we ordered the chicken parm from the children's menu, even pointing it out to our server. When we received the meal we ate. I do not normally order the chicken parm so I am not aware of the portion size. When we received the check, we were charged for the dinner portion and not the children's portion. I own my own business and know that mistakes are made, I understand this. As a manager you need to correct the mistake. Unfortunately it took 15 minutes of our time for us to have to finally request to talk with the manager that was refusing to give us a refund. He proceeds to tell us that there is no way for him to give us a refund through the system and wanted to give is a desert. I told him we were all full, he rolled his eyes and went to grab a gift card per our request. He returned while rolling his eyes an gave us $8. And patting his hand on the money while it was on the table in a very frustrating manner. At this point since he wanted to throw a fit, I let him know the difference was $9 not $8. He rolled his eyes once again and pulled a dollar out of his wallet. He did all of this with a frustrated and rude tone.
This was embarrassing for us and not a pleasurable dining experience. The worse part is, my father has known the owner of the establishment for as long as I can remember and I can't believe he allows a manager that acts like this to represent...
Read moreI had been bragging to my boyfriend for about a month about how good the food is so we decided that I would order food for my birthday when it came around. I placed my order the 27th excitedly the day before my birthday. I told them I was looking forward to having yummy food with my man and family on my birthday which would be the next day. I was quoted a certain amount on the phone and a different amount in person.I got the order and took it home and discovered the complete order wasn't there so I returned to get the rest of the order. I wasn't greeted friendly either time nor wished a happy birthday. I went home and passed out everyone's food and we started eating we discovered the soup tasted awful and wasn't the soup we were told we would recieve. The spaghetti had next to no sauce. The lasagnas were very salty and the sauce looked like it was from a can and the layer of lasagna had practically no filling. My mom and I ended up throwing out lasagna and we all threw out our soup as for the spaghetti I added more of my homemade spaghetti sauce to my daughter's spaghetti . My sweet man knew how much I was looking forward to the food and noticed how disappointed I was. He took me to Luigi's Italian restaurant and got me lasagna. It was amazing. I've dinned inside Caffe Positanos in the past several times and it was nice and have ordered for work a few times but this last experience has me reconsidering ordering from there again or...
Read moreThis was my first time trying this restaurant. I just had one of my worst customer service experience. Make sure that you check the price online and compare to the one in store because they are totally different and misleading. I was going to order online several times but for some reasons it won't allow my order to go through. So I decided to do a phone order. First, kids' meals have free drink included online. Via phone, it is $3 charge. I ordered 2 so that's additional $6. The Tiramisu is $55 cents more in store. When I went to the store to pick up, I respectully asked why my receipt total is different from the one I got online. The guy in front, I forgot to catch his name, who was making pizza, was so rude and minimized my concern and said, "so you are complaining just for $55 cents?" And did not even make an eye contact. That is not the point. The point is, when you purchase a product, you have to honor the price or explain to me in a respectful manner why it is different. I asked to speak woth the supervisor, and they did not send one. I stead that disrespectful pizza guy stepped in. I was just hoping that they are considerate and respectful with their customers. I hope no one will ever experience what I had...
