I recently had breakfast at Bagels & at The Fountains in Boynton Beach, and it was an overall disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the food. The home fries were awful—unappetizing and tasted like they had been sitting around for days. After a couple bites, we left them be. The roast beef was dry and lacked flavor, the scrambled eggs were cold, and the coffee was so light it barely had any taste. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was stressful. It was a busy morning, and almost everyone—staff and customers alike—seemed overwhelmed. The servers were scurrying around, looking rushed and overworked. While I don’t blame them for the chaotic environment, it definitely took away from the dining experience. My companion was visibly deflated by the tension in the air, and it was hard to enjoy the meal when the entire place felt on edge. I understand that restaurants can get busy, and I sympathize with the staff doing their best under pressure. But there’s no excuse for food that tastes old, cold, or poorly prepared. Quality should remain a priority, no matter how hectic things get. Despite everything, we still left a 20% tip, but sadly, this just wasn’t the right place for us. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return.

July 4, 2021: I love this deli. The staff AND customers are characters. I kept looking for George Costanza. The Bagels, Bagel Chips and Bialys (minis too) are amazing - even with Boynton Beach water, LOL. The meats and spreads are delicious. I brought home Bagels, Bagel Chips, Min Bialys with Lox Cream Cheese (so much lox), Whitefish Salad (almost 100% whitefish), Baked Salmon Spread and Pastrami. OMG. So good There is nothing like it in Orlando or in Florida other than a few pockets in Boynton Beach and Boca Raton. Love it. My mother was thrilled when I arrived with all the goodies. Prior review: They have more lox in their lox cheese then any other deli. Love it. The Whitefish Salad is wonderful. Great meats and salads. Love the mini bialys and great bagels. I miss going in with my dad at the opening bell. The customers AND staff are characters.

I used to like this place until recently. First time, we found a long, black hair in our boxed pastries. We figured it was a one time mistake and decided to give them anther chance. The next time we were there we ordered pastries and saw a d*ead fly in the tray right next to the pastries they were serving us. The old woman who was grabbing the pastries just pushed the fly away about 1/4 inch away from the d*ead fly and continued to serve us. She had bare and dirty hands, and long dirty nails. They do not wear gloves while serving and are completely unsanitary. Service has also gone downhill, with clueless servers walking around ignoring customers. We're never going back, and this place should be inspected by the county health commission. They are dirty and disgusting.

Today will make now my 3rd time experiencing the delectable, & mouth watering goodys at (Bagel's &). I've discovered my new favorite guilty pleasure. That new guilty pleasure is their Pistachio Muffins. Topped with real Pistachios. Not forgetting their delicious mouth watering chocolate Chip Pieces topped muffins as well. Both go great with a good cup of coffee. Oh Yes Great Coffee at (Bagels &) also. Should you decide to drop in you must taste those scrumptious muffins for yourself first hand. It's no exaggeration on my part. I'm simply sharing my experience with my fellow consumers should they read my post. You'll discover that the food speaks completely for itself. The enticingly rich flavors will beckon you back as I have already been. If you're a fan of (Bagels &) already you know precisely what I am talking about. If you haven't yet experienced (Bagels &) you too will discover your new guilty pleasure as well. The array of Pastries, Deli meats,Bagels etc.need's no exaggeration from me. The food speaks for itself, loud, and clear. The staff that you'll find at (Bagels &) are Focused, and dedicated to satisfying each customer. My experience with the staff at both locations of (Bagels &) have been satisfying, & a pleasure for me personally. There's a (Bagels &) at Hypoluxo as well. Great food, and service, and a busy focused staff. All of the staff members are polite. None have I found to be rude, or abrasive. Staff members are focused on you as if you were the only one in the store while they are serving you. I had the pleasure of speaking with one of their staff members this morning over the phone to request my order to be ready for pick up. This wonderful staff member of the Boynton Beach location of (Bagels &) Was instantly focused on me, and took the initiative to gather my information, and inform me that the specific Item I requested was available, and also informed me if I purchased a specific amount I would also receive an extra item for no extra charge. She couldn't have been more accommodating, or more professional. I Thank You Ladonna for your Professional Service, as well as your Pleasant Personality. It was greatly appreciated. I'm sure most consumers today find that courtesy is becoming extinct in many businesses. It's practically non existent to be perfectly honest. Thus far I haven't found this to be the case in any of the locations of (Bagels &) That made my experience even more special. As a representative of (Bagels &) Ladonna is a true Professional, and was beyond courteous to me. She was simply as pleasant as can be. That's sadly a rarity in most places of business today. Once again thank you Ladonna, and (Bagels &) for having such a PLEASANT environment in both locations of (Bagels &). Please keep up the great quality. It's definitely a refreshing change. A satisfied customer. Mr. D. Mulligan/...

My brother-in-law brought over bagels for the kids this morning, only to find a bug inside of one of the wrappers. We made sure that it wasn’t a seed or anything else, because let’s face it, people make mistakes. But, this definitely had legs. He ended up driving back, over 10 minutes away to get his money back. When he walked in and spoke calmly to one of the older employees, before he could point out the legs, she grabbed the bug and rolled it between her fingers, announcing that it was a poppy seed! She proceeded to get rude, yelling that he wasn’t getting his money back, to which he ended up raising his voice, advising that he has been a customer of over 10 years! He called her deceitful for rolling the bug up before any “evidence” could be produced, but thankfully he took a picture prior to heading back. Not talking about everyone there, but the staff is very rude. We’ve noticed dirty dishes & silverware, etc. Looking back through their history, they’ve had some nasty violations in regards to cleanliness. They have been shut down before for issues including a dead rodent under their bagel cart and rat droppings in the vicinity of the water filter and bagel station. This was blamed on leaving the back door open, which obviously would allow...
