Hot Mess Express!! Table was visibly wet. Asked the young lady who tossed menus on table, (with no greeting) if she had a towel. Very loud eye roll she walked away as she walked back past our table she tossed a stack of napkins down “here” and kept walking. I picked up napkins and menus and dried the table and bottom menu off. Another young lady came over asked about drinks, which I ordered. When she returned we ordered dinner. I ordered Southwest Chicken Salad, my favorite item on their menu. While we waited on food, I was watching the mess of a waitstaff and how they were behaving. Young girls nipping at one another, walking into each other (going wrong way on a one way, kinda thing), playing with their hair, on their phones. Our server was on her phone leaning against the carry out window. Kitchen must have called her name or something, she turned to look in the window and went back to texting. I could see a bowl and a plate with a sandwich and fries. That food turned out to be ours. When our food made its way to our table my salad had plain grilled chicken on it. I asked why it didn’t have the seasoning on the chicken. Server told me it never has seasoning. I told he every time I order this salad it does. She was not having it, had an argumentative attitude. I stated I wasn’t going to argue with her that I’d deal with it. As I went to cut up my chicken I noticed mushrooms, which I’m allergic to. Knowing their other salad has mushrooms I realized my salad didn’t have the tortilla strips either. I then got the attention of another server, Lynda and started to explain my salad was wrong… our originally server walked past and heard me explaining my issue and was immediately at the table yelling at me, that she has worked there for 6 years and my salad is fine. I stopped her, and showed her the mushrooms, explaining my allergy, also told her I didn’t care how long she worked there I was the customer. She turned and walked away. Lynda offered to have correct salad made, at this point I declined I was not hungry and far too mad to eat. Lynda took the salad away and again asked to get me something else. I again declined I just wanted to let my partner enjoy his dinner and go home. A few minutes later a manager came to the table and said “I hear you have a problem”. Luckily I held my tongue (kinda) and explained how our entire experience had been from the moment we walked in. She just kept saying “I’m sorry” she did offer to have the salad corrected but I again declined. When our check was delivered manager did take 20% off the good meal and our drinks. I made sure Lynda was the server on the slip, for tip purposes paid bill and left. Not sure when or if I’ll go back, it’s not the best place to eat around here but it is convenient. Only Great thing about this place is Lynda.. Best Server, every time she has taken care of us before. My server rating on this post reflects that of the Argumentative Blonde server, not Lynda. Lynda...
Read moreThis is not the usual Beefs I go too but 2 years ago when I lived in Ruskin I came here frequently. Anyways was visiting my grandmother in Sun City decided to order here since I was familiar to the place and it was late. I ordered 20 wings wet with some cheesey bacon pub chips. When I got home they were far from being wet (dry), actually there was hardly any sauce on the wings at all and the cheese was burnt onto the chips (not melted then dried, that's how they usually are). I called and asked to speak to a manager she said she was, sounded like she said her name was Dolphin but I know it was something close to that. I told her my situation and she said I would have to bring the wings back it was 10:45 I live in North Riverview (I actually passed several other locations I regret not going to instead of now) and they close at 11 pm. I told her that I wouldn't make it before then. She said well that's policy there is nothing else we can do (all while mocking me with her tone and a chuckle). I told her I can take a picture and send it to a cell phone if she would like and she said no. So I asked there is nothing you can do for me I can't come in and get a coupon or something? Once again she said that is the policy there is nothing she can do for me. So I spent 36 dollars on wings not prepared the way I ordered with inedible pub chips and this is the response I get from their management. I will be calling whoever's is working tomorrow and I have met the owner before. I just dont see how they expect to run a business with giving this kind of service to customers. If it wasn't for the girl at the counter being so polite I would leave 1 star. With the way the manager was speaking to me afterwards I do regret leaving a tip on take out. Beyond...
Read moreI don't typically do not post bad reviews nor do I like to, but the experience I had to go through to get two simple buffalo chicken salads with extra chicken to-go (which I explained to the person taking my order that I simply want an extra portion of chicken exactly like it's supposed to be made per the menu) was horrible and took two hours.
Called to make order, explained order carefully and then came to pickup. When I got said order, there was no extra chicken but they charged me for it. I figured that $?!# happens and no big deal. Waited for the extra chicken. Didn't go all "Karen". Just waited patiently.
Got home, found out all chicken was grilled and seemingly boneless. The menu says fried. I tried to eat it and it was gross. The chicken was rubbery and just tasted awful. I called to get two new salads.
While they did remake them, the person I got the other salad for found large pieces of bone in the original chicken. When he brought it to the server's attention when he picked up the new salads, she shrugged to indicate "oh well'. Also, they said they'd be ready in 20 minutes and they were not ready within that time frame either time.
So basically, if you enjoy late service on repeat occasions along with failure to provide the customer with food that you paid for; coupled with servers that cannot seem to comprehend simple instructions and surprises in your food, then this is the...
