Bob Evans — Restaurant in Florida

Bob Evans may not be what most folks would consider 5 star dining, but if what you are craving is home cooked fare, the menu offers a variety of attractive choices.

Breakfast is available all day and night, with the selections focusing on superior omeletes and all-in-one skillet doshes. There is a discrete lunch menu for those on a schedule, and a dinner menu woth a number of inviting choices, ranging from excelent burgers to pot roast to steak, chicken and fish. A 55 and over menu contains most of the selections on the dinner menu, with slightly smaller portions and prices.

My wife and I went for dinner. We were greeted by a friendly, fast moving store manager, wearing several hats simultaneously, while maintaining a refreshingly amiable attitude throughout. Our waitress was named Patricia. She was energetic, focused, friendly and courteous, and provided mistake free service thrpughout or visit.

Entire restaurant was immaculately clean. All staff, from busboys to managers stayed on the hustle throughout our time there. Smiles abounded. Staff was faltlessly polite and expertly responsive. Plenty of wait staff on duty assurred that no one had to ever wonder where their waiter/ waitress was, even on a very busy evening.

My wife had a bacon and steak bistro style buger and fries. I ordered the "everything" breakfast platter, and we shared a cranberry pecan and fried chicken salad. The food was crisply fresh (salad), and expertly cooked. Everything tasted great. My wife had a piece of peanut butter/chocolate pie for desert, and we both had coffee after dinner. The coffee was absolutely freshly made and was very nice.

Patricia's attitude and service was top shelf throughout. We never had to wonder where she was, despite the place being packed snd her being assigned at least half a dozem tables including ours. We tipped her 10 dollars on a 40 dollar ticket. She was delighted.

Had not been to this Bob Evans in a while. We will patronize this location more often for sure. An inexpensive dinner at a midlevel restaurant was rendered a delughtful, totally satisfying experience by a fine, well managed staff and a particularly fine waitress.

Dine here with high expectations and you won't be...

First let me give full disclosure.we was given a partial refund and an apology from the manager.

It started with the service, the waitress was very rude to not just our table but other tables commented on the service also. The kitchen crew was arguing so loud that not only did someone get sent home, but our child was repeating cuss words that could be heard in the dining area.

Me and my wife ordered sirloin and shrimp, and among the sides was my macaroni and cheese, which will become important in a minute. The shrimp was fine and so was most of the food, however my mac n cheese was somehow served ice cold, when pointed out the server did bring it back to the kitchen, which it did come back luke warm good enough to eat. My wife's steak seems fine but both of ours was overcooked. Mine was suppose to be medium rare and my wife medium. Hers was well done and mine was medium well, I ate it without asking for another as we waiting far too long for it anyways. Oddly my steak tasted like fish, or chicken, or something not good. It smelled and tasted quite wrong.

On the bright side my child's chicken tenders came out just fine. Dont come here it was a waste of both...

3 in my party. With me was the most pickiest of eaters.. I'm so very pleased to announce. This location is the best Bob Evans I've visited. Paint a picture here. We walked in and right off you see a heavy duty portable air-conditioning. Getting seated we see 2 or 3 more portable airconditioniners. Still it's a comfortable feel. Look toward the cooks area I wondered how hot the crew was. Our waitress very pleasant and so quick to gather orders. Watching we noticed how hard she worked gathering supplies to stock up. The manager must have be on their game. As the air conditioning and the team were all working in harmony. We did notice to waitress not as helpful. One more demanding of the cook than necessary. Didn't make any difference this place was so very pleasing to visit. I told the cashier how pleased we are with the food presentation flavors were beyond my expectations. I was informed the cook was 3 weeks into training. I'm blown away! Management please , please express to the crew our gratitude.
