Bob Evans — Restaurant in Florida

Bob Evans (Colony plaza) biggest waste of money. Food was a disappointment , service was terrible. I've been in the food industry for 20+ years , I was shocked that the basics were completely overlooked. #1 sat waited over a half hour for someone to acknowledge us and get our drink order. (Went ahead and gave drink and food order at the same time) #2 asked for straws and extra napkins, waited 15+ minutes,(they were not busy ) got up and asked for them myself, husband was in desperate need of the napkins 😆 #3 food came out, took about 45 min (approx, maybe a little less? Felt like forever. No biggy) #4 husbands loaded home Fry's were not ready. My steak tip omelet was so greasy and was clearly left under the heat lamp for far you long as the "fresh salsa" was now hardened to the omelet. Scraped the salsa off , and used napkin to get some of the extra grease up. Both his and our plates had so much grease on them (the server should have either switched plates or wiped the plates!) #5 husbands loaded home Fry's come out and they are ice cold, cheese is not melted at all. He didn't return it just ate it bc we already waited so long we had to get back to work. #6 my omelet was so filled with onions and peppers and like 3 pieces OF WAY overcooked steak. It was just too greasy. I scraped everything off the eggs and decided to bring them home for my pups. As I was just about done I noticed a hair in the omelet and that was where I decided I'm done and my pups don't actually need any eggs and the toast which came out Ice cold can stay too. $44 (rounded up) yes we tipped , couldn't find the server for a Togo drink, as we were pulling out we saw the was outside🙄 Honestly I could have just said whatever but everything added up the non existent server (Brie?) just save your money and go somewhere else. Oh I decided to highlight the hair by making a flower with the massive amount of onions...

Have to give a 3 star due to the way our group was treated when we arrived. Two days before we called to see if we could use the smaller room for a group of 12. At that time we said we would be there from 5 to 7:30. We were told that there were not reservations but we could use the room and if it was busy others would be seated in the room with us. Our group arrived at 5:00. the small room was full and we were asked to sit at two high tables in the main room, then asked if we would sit outside, when we responded no we would like to sit in the small room. We were told it would be another 15 wait. We had now waited 30 mins and meantime others were being seated in the small room. At this time 3 from our group left as they had a medical conditions and needed to eat. We approached the manager and she told us there were no reservations and besides our group had originally call in to say we would "arrive" between 5:30 and 7:30. Really, who calls in to a resturant to say they will arrive in a two hour span?? Her attitude was unprofessional and unappoligetic. The food was good and the waiter was amazing.. the management is poor hence the 3...

Meal horrible, took 25 minutes in a non busy night to get pancakes, eggs and hash browns.

Get food and it looked awful. Should have taken picture to post.

Eggs over medium came greasy, brown, and over cooked/ egg hard, hash browns full of grease and under cooked. Pancakes almost white, not cooked. Horrible. I mean no color and they served them?? Raw bacon served too. I mean all fat and flimsy. How could anyone even a dishwasher think this is ok.

Can’t blame servers except they shouldn’t have served it. They should be trained to reject badly made food. Standards need to established.

Sent back to only find out management had the dishwasher cooking the food. They ‘management’ should be fired.

Once I complained management came out of locked doors to remake it. But too late, took too long, no appetite.

Horrible management here in The Villages Florida. They obviously don’t know how to manage.

Standards of quality awful. Maybe the health department should visit this place serving badly made, unhealthy with old grease and undercooked.

Also using the dishwasher to cook and we were told he doesn’t cook.

Well that is obvious.
