Fast service good chicken. I have been eating here a few times a year for 5 years since you opened. The people working there are nice and service is good. BUT for the last few times sticky tables like dirty water was used to clean them. My tray that my food was served on I had to take a picture. Come on there were only one other couple eating there besides myself and I did notice they started to sit at a booth and they moved because it was dirty. What's going on with employees

Ordered the Thai peanut chicken bowl. It came out pretty quick. The dish itself had a nice flavor balance between the peanut, mango, broccoli, chicken, and rice. The chicken was cut up crispy chicken tenders, broccoli had that nice crisp to it. Mangoes j was on one side. This is definitely something you need to mix up yourself to get that right flavor profile.

Nice chicken strips and milkshakes, but WAY overpriced. I mean, look at the pics...$7.50 for one small chicken strip cut into two and put on a small cereal bowl-sized bed of lettuce. That's the end of my family's patronage. By the way, the Ocala restaurant on Hwy 200 serves larger portions. This has happened a few times over the year.

If I could give a zero in every area I would!

I have been coming solely to PDQ for fast food gourmet chicken fingers, sandwiches, etc for years. And, even stopped going to Chick-Fil-A out of preference.

In the past and most recent visits, I have come to this location and Ocala, and received the First Responders Discount whenever in work uniform.

On this visit, my order was taken by Rita and then Nick, and another staff member intervened. Rita claimed she did not acknowledge nurses’/healthcare workers as of importance/first responders. Then, another team member had jumped in and accused me of lying whenever I mentioned receiving the discount from Ocala and this location multiples times in the past, I informed them that I have, and am not lying. Saying they worked at Ocala, also Rita made multiple comments about her not being the one who did- and saying the person who did it would be in trouble, etc To which Nick came (I felt humiliated by the number of people getting involved in the incident, and also against me). There was no yelling or disturbance caused by myself, so I felt attacked with that number of staff and also their tones and body language. They created a major scene, where it was not needed.

Nick claimed that coporate does not acknowledge nurses’ and healthcare workers as first responders and worthy of a discount. Stop to me in a very condescending and negative tone. Never once was I apologized to for how they handled things. In fact, the lady who was preparing the food, left my food out on the counter, never mentioning anything of it being ready- or telling me it was mine. I had to ask.

I will not be attending/supporting this restaurant in the future. And, plan to notify other nurses’ and healthcare workers of the comment about: the un-importance of our duties. Was a total slap in the face for all of the work we do! PDQ and similar thinking restaurants need to educate themselves. Look around next time you go to a hospital, medical center or even clinic- especially in a hospital, there is no such healthcare as healthcare without the workers and nurses. And, similarly for considering EMTs of importance, but not us- without healthcare workers: where are the EMTs going to transport you to? Ignorance...

I like PDQ. The one star review is because of the following. On my way out today I tripped hard but did not fall as a result of a rubber mat they had outside their door. It was warped in the middle which is what caused my foot to catch. I was fine but became Very Concerned about another elderly person possibly tripping and not being as lucky as I was. I politely asked to speak with the manager. He told me there was ā€œNothingā€ he could do. I got a little heated with that remark and retorted that there certainly was. He could spin it around, remove it, fix it etc. He said he would. After a few minutes he had made no attempt to do so. I did not want this on My conscience so at age 65, 4’10ā€, 106 lbs I went back and realized spinning it would not work so I pulled it out, folded it and left it to the side. I then received a phone call and did not leave the parking lot for 15 mins. The manager Never came out. Apparently, the safety of their patrons, many of whom are elderly is of no concern to that young man. Outrageous! This was Saturday, February 3, 2024 a...

Our friends picked up 4 Cali Bowls and brought them to their house for a split-cost shared dinner. Very disappointed with the meal! We didn’t say a word to our friends because we didn’t want to ruin the evening by complaining, but this is we experienced: Each bowl had different amounts of food in it! My friend got a bowl with 4 pieces of chicken and a very modest portion of beans and rice. I had 6 pieces of chicken but an adequate amount of beans and rice. The third person had a bowl that looked about like mine but with more broccoli. The fourth person’s bowl looked like it had 10 or 11 chicken pieces in it and I couldn’t see past that to the rest of the bowl.

This lack of portion control is nothing we have ever experienced when we’ve eaten at PDQ in the past. If it happened on site, it would be an easy thing to call attention to and correct. Anyway, if we do any future carry outs, we will be sure to look in the bag before driving home! In the meantime, we’ll stay away for a while—not a...
