Hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant that I have EVER been to in the 35 years that I have been on this planet. I was in the hospitality industry for 15 years and was completely blown away. The food was phenomenal, but it wasn't just the food. Rolando was our server and his service was impeccable. I literally spent half my time there with my wife and three kids just raving about the experience. I totally get why this place was on wait before and after we got there. There was a 20 minute wait and I have three kids, but after our experience, we would have waited as long as it takes. El Toreo was our favorite, but it we want Mexican food, we will now drive to the Villages. I had a house margarita and was in shock by the value for $6.50. They exceeded my expectations on all levels from the server, manager, food, and bussers. I watch how restaurants operate because I worked in hospitally for so long and I was in utter amazement. It wasn't just me, my wife and children were blown away. I honestly can not even put in words how great it was. I asked to speak to the manager to tell him how great our experience was, and as soon as he left, a woman from a another table said to me "Hey, don't tell everyone how great this place is, or everyone will want to come." Well, I think it is worth the wait and they deserve to reap the benefits when it is obvious that their establishment has put the work in to...

Went to Fiesta Grande in Colony plaza for our 20th anniversary tonight. We had a $50 gift card that was a gift to us so we figured, why not. We get there an hour before they close and we're told they are closed early and can only do a take out order. So we said ok, we go to pay and they come back out and said the gift card didn't work, no balance, they don't know why . So we paid the bill $77.11 and left. As we are leaving I try to figure Out whats going on and no where is there a number or website to check the balance 😐 husband decides to call Brownwood location and talk to them. They look up the card and there is a 50 balance. The manager at the Brownwood location went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us! I won't ever go back to colony but I will 10000% go to the Brownwood location because of the customer service and the help we received blew us away and I am so grateful for there help , canceled the CC transaction, ran the gift card and then the balance on the cc. Colony plaza needs some work, they were so rude about the gift card, and about us ordering, and the whole place smelt soooo bad, like dirty drains or sewer. That 100% needs to be fixed. It...

Went with a small group to Fiesta Grande. Took a couple pics of a few dinners. Happy hour margaritas were liked and a good price for the side. After happy hour, size shrunk down by at least half. Our server was less than attentive, as we had to flag him down numerous times for things. Also, he did not mention to us that happy hour was ending or we would have ordered additional drinks and probably stayed longer. Server can make or brake the experience. Atmosphere was an upscale Mexican theme. Pretty nice interior decor. A couple people ordered the taco salad and really enjoyed it. Multiple other tables near us ordered the Taco Salad so it must be a fan favorite. Another person in our group ordered 2 side tacos but they are picky so they ordered them without many toppings. Looks less appealing and was limited on flavor. Another dish in the pictures was ordered and enjoyed, however I do not recall the name of the dish. Some really enjoyed their meals, others were just ok-mixed reviews. Our server brought down the experience for us but we will give them another chance,...

Fiesta Grande had good food and fantastic service when we were there recently. We'd never been to Fiesta Grande before, and the good wife wanted Mexican. We walked in and were seated almost immediately. This was a Thursday night, and even though it was busy, the wait was less than 3 minutes. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. He was also very attentive without being overbearing, which is tricky to pull off. We were served chips and salsa, which were pretty standard, though the salsa had a kick. I got chimichangas while the wife got burritos. The chimichanga was huge...I was not able to finish it, and so took the rest home along with the rice and beans. The rice was standard Mexican rice, and while the refried beans were very tasty, they weren't as creamy as other places I've been to. Not bad, just different. The atmosphere was lively without being too loud, which was nice. We spent less than $16 each for supper (no booze), so a pretty decent bargain. We'd definitely recommend and will be coming back.
