@bocasgrill in Orlando, a foodie’s paradise! 🌴🍽️ From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. Their Special Arepa Wok Smoked Shrimp was a revelation – a perfect blend of flavors and textures that left me craving for more. 😍 But the surprises didn’t end there. The Jaleita, Chicharron & Beef Hallaquita was a medley of savory goodness. The combination of crispy chicharron, succulent beef, and the comforting hallaquita made every bite an experience to remember. 🥩🥘 The Parrilla Llanera? An absolute carnivore’s dream. The sizzle, the aroma, and the melt-in-your-mouth perfection of the grilled meats were simply irresistible. 🔥🍖 And, because no meal is complete without a sweet note, I couldn’t pass up the Oreo Milkshake – a creamy, dreamy dessert that was the perfect finish to an incredible dining experience. 🍨 If you find yourself in Orlando, you absolutely have to make a stop at Bocas Grill. It’s a culinary adventure you won’t want to miss! 🌟 • • #BocasGrill #OrlandoEats #orlandofoodie #orlandodatenight #orlandofoodblogger #floridafoodie #latinfood #orlandofoods #orlandotravel

My first time experiencing Bocas and it was a nice setting. If you want to enjoy a date night with your loved one I would recommend. The outside seating is the perfect spot, as I feel it has a more of an intimate setting than inside. We went during a less busier time which had a more calming feel to it. The staff is super friendly, although the only downside is when asking questions about the menu it was hard to get a response about what the dishes actually tasted like or contained. They have a lot to choose from and I think it makes it hard for one to choose from. I ended up ordering the creamy noodles W/ smoked shrimp and to top it off I had a refreshing strawberry lemonade. The strawberry lemonade tasted fresh and not something that was from a container. I would definitely recommend. My husband ordered the grilled skirt steak W beans and white rice. He also chose a side of truffle fries which he said he didn’t really like so much. We aren’t really fry eaters so that may have been his own dislike. He ordered the Moscow Mule which was great. Overall the food was excellent for presentation, I couldn’t finish the Wok noodles because I felt it was really “cheesy” but the dish overall was really good. The steak was cooked to his liking and the rice and beans were great as well. So given my experience I gave it a 4 as it wasn’t spectacular but it would be something worth trying again. In my opinion I recommend anyone to give them a try! If you love flavor, hospitality and a great date night setting than this is the place you wanna be.

I was in town for just a day and wanted to have some authentic Venezuelan food. After living in Venezuela for two years in the mid-90’s and falling in love with that nation’s delicious cuisine, I was really hoping for an authentic, take-me-back-27-years sort of experience. That’s just what I got. Keyla was my server, and she was fantastic at helping me break down the sizable menu and find something that would help transport me to a Venezuelan table set and prepared for siesta. She hit the nail on the head. ¡Sabrosisima! The lentil soup that started my meal was out of this world - savory and just-right consistency. After that appetizer, I was so excited for the main course that I forgot to take a picture before beginning. The sweet plantains were perfectly cooked (and not dripping with oil as they do often are at lesser Venezuelan places). The black beans were seasoned to perfection. The meat had the perfect, authentic blend of savory and mildly spicy, and was tender and juicy. The fresh passion fruit juice was perfectly sweet and tart. And the tres leches I had to top everything off was delightful. I wished I had more time and more space in my abundantly satisfied stomach to eat more, but my body couldn’t take any more. If you’re in Orlando and want an authentic, delicious, Venezuelan meal, this is the place to go. Thank you to Keyla and everyone else at Bocas for taking me back to the true taste of Venezuela.

2 different reviews! separate experiences. [[ •Dining for 2 on a Tuesday early evening around 4pm. - Had Manoli as a server, he was kind & very informative as a server, offered recommendation checked in on us and paid attention even when passing by, great server. Informed us of items on their new happy hour, was informative about pointing out the items throughout the menu & explaining them. - ordered CACHAPA WITH CHEESE & LEVIN TRUFFLE BURGER both had great taste & good portion size. Food came out very fast in drive however the cachapa was served barely warmed, would of enjoyed the dish more if it was hot. ]] [[•Dining for 2 on a Friday night around 7pm. - Timing inconsistencies lead to a poor experience & cold plates. - Ordered meal & ate appetizer all before neighboring table was seated or ordered, yet their main dishes were brought out to be served before ours. Ordered the TRIO DE EMPANADAS, flavors were good, but one of the two chicken options came out ICE cold chicken on top. Ordered PICANHA BURGER the pieces came diced up in cubes, difficult to eat because it slides all out each bite. The grilling cheese was a thick cut so the inside was cold and the outside was barely warmed, and avocados slices on it were brown & slimy. Couldn’t eat more than 2 bites of this burger unfortunately. - Seated outdoors, the table next to saxophone player before the performance began. It was way too loud for anyone to be seated there, we had to yell across to each other & yell to order our menu items all evening. - Hosts were unprofessional, one woman was eating at host stand & 4-5 staff at all times crowding in the entryway looking into the restaurant & chatting among themselves seeming to joke off with each other, very awkward to be continually watched by a group of staff, also the group were making jokes and encouraging loud crowd clapping in the middle of the saxophone performers songs making for awkward moments that the staff thought was funny but interrupted the evening atmosphere. - Server Wilson was welcoming, friendly & informative & checked in on us. The servers offered their promotional free desert for exchange of online review. The person I shared the dining experience with had enjoyable dishes & left their review in exchange for the free desert offer.]] >>Multiple online menus on varying sites show varying prices for the same items, prices were higher in restaurant menus, misleading & inconsistent. Second visit saw crew photographing food, possibly for updating social media or online updates.

I wish I could leave a review for 0 starts. My whole family has been extremely sick with fevers this whole week and unable to get out of the house. We ordered a family combo from Bocas Grill in Orlando expecting a hot meal ready to serve but instead we received frozen food, hard as a rock, that needed to be cooked. On the website, it never disclosed that the food needed to be prepared. We decided to call the restaurant and ask for a refund as this was extremely disappointing. The manager, Wilson Infonte, was beyond rude and unapologetic on the phone saying that it is “obvious” and “logical” for takeout food to come like this. He also stated that he would not give us the refund unless we brought the products back. We thought this was beyond ridiculous as the drive to the restaurant was 45 minutes there. Upon arrival to the restaurant, there was a 20 minute wait for the food after being told the food would be ready for 3:00 PM. 0 stars for the food and 0 stars for customer service. We will not be ordering from Bocas Grill again and hope the restaurant uses this as an opportunity to learn from their mistakes and learn to treat customers with more respect…

I have seen this restaurant advertised many times but haven't had a chance to go until last night. We called ahead to see if we needed to make a reservation and we were hung up on. We then called back and had to ask if this was the restaurant because they answered with "hello?". We found out we could walk in and we headed there. Upon arriving, we were seated immediately and opted for outdoor seating. The ambiance was nice and relaxing. We ordered a soda as well as a green tea (which was recommended by our server, Wilson). The tea was very good! We then ordered a "to share" platter and were able to substitute things on the platter without hesitation. Our food came out in no time and it was SO good! The meats were cooked perfectly and the spinach creamy noodles were amazing! The service towards the end kind of went downhill as we waited for about 15-20 minutes for our server to come back outside so we could ask for the bill and a box. Nonetheless, we would definitely go back and try more off of the menu, as everything looked and sounded delicious.
