I was really craving onigiri for lunch today and decided to get on Postmates to see where I could find onigiri (if not I would have to wait to go home and make some for dinner). Fortunately, I found Cafe Oriental. I played it safe and got the salmon onigiri and the unagi onigiri. WOW. I was soooo pleasantly surprised. It was DELISH!!! They onigiri arrived still warm, the seaweed was doing its thing, & the quality of the salmon and unagi was really good! I added a little soy sauce and sriracha (my preference) and I’ll tell ya, it was the best lunch I have had in a while! This is now my new onigiri spot and luckily it’s near my job & home! I no longer need to travel 45 min for some onigiri 🍙 I’m so happy to find this spot! 10/10 on salmon and unagi onigiris! Bonus: the little stickers on the onigiri packaging made my day (I had...
Read moreThis is a must if you're cycling on US1! The onigiri are so big and filling! I had the Peach Plumb Onigiri and felt so satisfied. I'm only now exploring the various types of Onigiri and found the Peach Plumb to be rather salty so I'm excited to try the other selections.
It would also be exciting to see some fresh desert options, like melonpan, bean buns, or manju. If the regular food is good, I can only assume their desserts would be great too.
The shop has outdoor seating which is fantastic, although it is bombarded with the nearby highway traffic noise, it's not the shop's fault. Cycling on US1 is a great way to get to this shop if you're coming from the south. There's even bike parking in the neighboring shop! Definitely a cycle pitstop with friendly...
Read moreSo honestly I’m gonna start off review as I had a better hopes for this place it seems very nice and I really like the selection of the food I’m excited to try the curry in the future because I am willing to try it and I feel like the food was good but it wasn’t worth the price $70 for a takoyaki and two bowls of Ramen that were not the best Ramen honestly wasn’t worth it so I won’t consider getting Ramen from this place again. The shoyu Ramen broth was very nice it was like a light meal and it was enjoyable but the kimchi Ramen was more so the broth was like OK it wasn’t something to read about and kind of hoping we got a curry or some on gui instead. The takoyaki was a nice appetizer or snack. Overall the price was absolutely...
