This place started off great with quick seating and drinks and orders to the kitchen quickly. From there it went down hill. Our food was over cooked and the liver and onions should be removed from the menu. My husband tried 2 bites and couldn't bare anymore. Our server finally returned 20 later and asked if his meal was ok. He politely told her what was wrong and she offered to replace it. Which was great! But we were wrong... she informed him that he would be paying for the previous plate because he had it longer than 2 minutes and for the plate of food she was replacing his meal with. If she had checked back with her table and not disappeared she would of known this. She then belittled him for not liking the food and continued her poor service by telling him that it's "her policy" if longer than 2 minutes she won't remove it or get us a manager for us to speak with. I was left wondering if the owner really doesn't care about customers or just doesn't care about how his staff treats his patrons. It's too bad because we really wanted to like this place as our usual stop but will drive longer to eat elsewhere.
I appreciate you reaching out to your staff about the matter. However, my tale of events and your server and management staff now both telling stories lacking in truth is completely uncalled for and just ridiculous. The overcooked liver plate was taken back... uneaten (CORRECTION the 2 small bites)... and the replacement club sandwich never made it to the table. I know this because the server updated our receipt with both items. I questioned why..she state "her 2 minute policy" at which point I asked to talk to mgt. She denied that opportunity. So no discount was ever offered by management nor did we ever speak with them. I asked his so called replacement plate to be cancelled and removed from our receipt and it was. (I am quite sure you can track voided items on your computer system) What I don't understand if customer happiness is so important overall why you didn't reach out to both parties before making your post. I am just one customer, but for me and my family, we won't...
Read moreTwice we went to this Beverly Hills Restaurant to get turned off and walked out due to the staff attitude that had to seat us down. They tried to seat us at a small table when clearly there was other tables empty. We also said we’ll wait for the next table. They said first come first serve repeatedly with a nasty demeanor, and we said then why did you save a table last time for someone else. Absolute done with this place, There’s other places my money is good at. Then the male hostess (found out later was the owner) followed us out the door, And very loudly kept repeating “It’s always first come and first serve”…In which I repeated no it wasn’t last time. He clearly was trying to continue this argument in front of several other patrons. Sorry to waitress Allysha as you are the best there!
Update: After reading your response stating that your staff member claiming I had “not to so friendly comments” is a complete lie, BECAUSE you (the owner) was that staff member!!! Not only are you rude, But also a liar! As I previously stated we said we would wait for another table, Because there was approximately 6-8 people waiting (not his other lie that there was 30 ppl waiting), And he went completely off the handle. He had a rude and not to friendly personality with full of lies. Also I must repeat for this person to say the manager came over is yet his biggest lie as it was he the owner that was seating us down with the attitude, So no other person was involved. I repeat we never made any...
Read moreHorrible experience!!!!! I ordered grits and found plastic trash in my grits. I actually chewed on it, thinking it was the melted cheese. When I felt it wasn't dissolving, I spit it out and it was piece of a plastic bag. I brought it to the waitress attention without making a scene, and asked to speak to a manager. The manager who also works in the kitchen who goes by the name CHRIS MORRA!!!!, didn't come out to issue an apology. He sent out the waitress, to tell me they couldn't take item that we weren't pleased with off the bill. Then I went to the register and requested to speak to the manager and he refused to come out and apologize for the service. This is not a location where they are considerate of their customers. They lack professionalism and proper customer service skills. This guy doesn't deserve to manage any establishment. I will use my all my social media platforms to make sure that everyone is aware of this guy and location. To not bring business to this restaurant as long he's managing that location or anywhere else. I liked the crunchy French toast, and the mimosas. But they ruined it with the grits, the horrible customer service and the unprofessional attitude after an incident that was clearly their fault. Will never visit this place again!!!! Updated: You guys remember the incident , Chris definitely knows what situation it is. Why did management, erase...
