Fresh Start Donuts of Beverly Hills — Restaurant in Florida

First off let me start off I had such high hopes & after reading great reviews was excited to check this donut shop out! Wasn't really greeted...just a what can I get for ya. I explained It was my 1st time here. Not one recommendation or anything. As I looked around, didn't see prices listed, soo many flavors were OUT that I was hoping for. So that was a let down right off the bat, especially 3 that my family were dying to try. Purchased a dozen glazed, 2 apple fritters, 2 coffee rolls & a sausage egg croissant. No masks, no gloves, no handwashing...as I proceeded to pay with a 100 bill, the worker replies " thats all ya got?" I explained I guess I can use my card. I'm thinking are you serious as the bill was almost 40 for what I got! I wanted to still leave a good tip thinking maybe she's having a bad day...well in doing so could only leave her a couple bucks. The croissant was VERY good!!! It would be nice to offer a side with it or even a drink. The glazed were just OK. Looked amazing, but just ok. The apple fritter had just a blob of canned filling in it, no other flavor throughout or even glazed all over just on top. The coffee roll could tell was not fresh as the glaze was super watery & we all know after a day or 2 that's what donuts do. Also when paying another worker walks up to explain how she got these other donuts to sell yesterday by saying they were mess ups. To me, not professional to do right in front of a customer.. All in all I love to give establishments a few tries, but I'm just not sure after only 1 pro out of all of it...I take pride in honest fair reviews whether good or bad...bummer. See...

We just had our first visit at Fresh start Donuts and we weren't disappointed. When you first walk in you get this amazing aroma from all of the amazing donuts and other breakfast pastries. We got there around 6AM so the selection of donuts was broad and plentiful. We were greeted right away by a very nice lady wearing a mets hat, I stated it was our first time there and we needed a minute to look over the options, she gave us a free glazed donuts while she explained the options and how everything is made fresh in house daily. There are some tables for eating inside as well. We got a half dozen donuts for a very reasonable price considering how fresh the donuts are and it being a small local business. We tried jelly donuts, chocolate cake, Boston creme and blueberry cake and everything was made to perfection, by far the best donut ive ever had anywhere. We will definitely be making another trip back to try some...

I'm not one to leave reviews when it comes to donuts, however I have to say after my grandson told me about the place I figured I would give it a try, walking I to the donut shop your are greeted without hesitation, and the beautiful smiles I was greeted with on top of that I was happy I was there, I purchased a dozen donuts and 4 rolls, I did not open the box until I got home when I did open the box it was instant sunshine throughout my household. These donuts are no joke, there huge, perfectly baked, and I will say this now the best donuts I have ever tasted. Beverly hills is a little whole in the wall town no one knows of. Once the word gets out about there donuts people will come here From and far. ...
