New China Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

Tonight was the second time I have ordered from this place on grub hub. The first time my food was okay....this time it was horrible....my white rice was complete mush. My sesame beef was so off-putting I couldn't even eat it! I tried to force myself considering it was like $80 for all the food, but I couldn't I nearly got sick. The shrimp lo mein has a very bad flavor like one I can't even describe. My children said the fried rice with sweet and sour chicken was okay, however I tasted it and it just taste like oil. I also got fried dumplings and the sauce is good however the dumplings themselves are just super soggy and not very good....those I was able to force down. Now I just feel very sick to my stomach. I'm honestly not surprised after reading all the reviews just now and am left concerned at how they are still open. I haven't had good Chinese since moving from Brooksville in May and this was just a good reminder on why we don't go looking for Chinese in this county. Do not waste your money and go...

Chinese/Asian cuisine here is clearly different than up north in Michigan! The egg rolls are cabbage instead of sprouts with shrimp. The portions are half the size as I am used to.

That being said, I get the General Tso's chicken, and my boyfriend gets the pepper steak. After my first visit here I was disappointed because I can usually make three meals out of it, so I did not go for a while. But I've been needing my fix! So I have been here a few times in the past few weeks. Food is decent. My one gripe is when I am given my receipt to sign, she immediately walks away for several minutes. As a former victim of ID theft, I am not leaving my signed receipt just laying on the counter. So I have to stand there for a while until she comes back to give her the receipt. Food is ok. THIS RESTURANT SUCKS

When I arrive there were a few if the regulars picking up their orders. He told some of them that he put extra in their bag. The cashier was very rude to me b/c I asked him if he could use less salt in my sauce he said all the sauces are made the same. You can say less sauce I stead. Then I asked if I could order Lomein Noodles with General Taos Chicken he said it would be an up charge, I told him ok before I wasn't done ordering he just excuse me and waited on another regular. I felt that was very rude and not necessarily nice at all. So I paid for my food and left When I got home I check it and there were no veggies in the lomein as the other Chinese places has always had veggies in their lomein. I decided right then and there that was my last time...
