Tried this place for the second time today and I'm sorry to say we were majorly disappointed, yet again. These are definitely NOT authentic Mexican street tacos, rather they are maybe Cuban or Domican Republican owners. (That's not a racist comment, I am Mexican myself and anyone who knows Hispanic foods knows there is a very distinguished/different taste between the cultures!) The steak was awful, so dry we could not hardly chew it- make sure to have a drink handy after every bite! Also lots of grisly parts that we couldnt chew & had to spit out. It was not asada like authentic taco busses, it was a marinated beef. (Look at the pics, the meat is red. Carne asada is a grilled steak, not marinated. Very unusual.) The lengua was also so burnt and crispy that it was not edible either, it was more like the texture of a burnt potroast. Definitely not true lengua consistency! And their green salsa is like watered down celery or something, no flavor and no spiciness. Definitely not tomatillo salsa verde like youd expect from a taco truck. The portion sizes are also very small, theyre not regular tortilla sizes, theyre the super tiny ones.. $30 wasted unfortunately but at least now we know it wasn't just a fluke the 1st time; the place is just awful altogether unfortunately. The lady working and taking orders was super nice though! But avoid this place and save your money if you're looking for truly authentic Mexican tacos or even flavorful tacos. Anyone who gives this place 3 or more stars has clearly not traveled far from their hometown or had the real deal! This one def ranks in my *BOTTOM 5* of all taco trucks I've ever been to, probably bottom 2 actually..

I'm not sure if the people that leave 4 and 5 star reviews for restaurants, have no taste buds or just haven't ever had good flavorful food, but they're not accurate at all. I was very disappointed here. I got the carnitas tacos and my husband had beef, because all they had this day was pork, chicken, shrimp, and ground beef. We went here, for tongue tacos for my husband and they were out. I wanted birria, didn't have it. Both meats were extremely bland and so dry. The corn tortillas were rubber and spongy, idk stale I guess. I got a side of Mexican rice and that is not Mexican rice, it was more bland than the meat was, next to eating plain rice. I order 3 tacos for myself and 3 for my husband, 2 orders, were put all in the same box. Not even close to being worth 18$ The photo of the rice is pulling the slight yellow tone , but in person it's barely yellow. ***Let's focus on the flavor of the food, because being out of 2 things in the middle of the week is fine and mot the point honeslty. The photos speak for themselves. Being arrogant in an industry that depends on the public funding you, is probably not a great idea. Just because some customers chose to leave reviews and say the food was to their liking, doesn't tally the people that were not satisfied, like myself, and don't leave reviews, they just never come back. I think in my experience, it's pretty impossible for others not to have had the same experience. You only have 600 reviews, I'm sure you've served more people then that. Learn to take constructive criticism.

Deep, rich, powerful flavor that you can only get from marinating and taking your time on a excellent cut of beef. Their carne asada is definitely a must try. Juicy, very generous amount of carne asada on a enduring pillow of two white corn tortillas. They are flexible but durable and sop up all of the juices that your taco and salsas have to offer. Both salsas are made from amazing chili’s and the flavor really shines through. For a more mild and slightly herby flavor and soft heat, go with the green. For a kick and nice, not over powering heat, give the red salsa a go. Or go crazy and use both to offset and balance one another to get the best of both worlds in one bite. The carne asada taco come topped with fresh chopped white onions and bright cilantro. Also a hefty sprinkle of soft, creamy queso fresco. And don’t forget to utilize the lime wedges to get a fresh, acidic note to tie together the meat, heat, and cheese. Cali street tacos couldn’t get more authentic or affordable. They hit the nail on the head and will forever be a amazing man, who fought blood, sweat, and tears to achieve what he does and where he is today and is beloved and cherished by his community he serves.
