When I opened the door, a welcoming smile to a clean bakery. The glass showed so many baked goods, but as with their website not everything is labeled or priced. On the website no description is given of items-a disadvantage when ordering on Doordash. There are no cookies. It's all bread based. The best of the 5i ordered were the lemon filled lemon cake and a guava Danish. Some pastries were looking like an immediate turn off, the bacon topped pastry looked like under cooked bacon in top and the cinnamon bun hasn't risen properly so not fluffy and the icing was thin and not proper.. neither looked appetizing. But oh my the Danish.. Never had guava before-oh my goodness it's delish! Totally recommend the guava-cheese Danish. Unfortunately I got a chocolate croissant. The top portion was a fairly good croissant but it was destroyed when they cut it in half and filled it with heavy sweet chocolate icing. It made what should've been a light airy treat, a lead ball. I was really impressed with their friendliness, helpfulness, the cleanliness, and oh my how good everything(but the chocolate) tasted.
Y'all should try this place. They said they change their menu all the time so there's always...
Read morepink acrylic finger nail in my hot cereal I regularly buy pastries from this bakery. I decided to take my mom yesterday for her first time. Customer service is friendly and bakery is clean per usual. We checked out and went home. We opened our hot cereal and my hot cereal had an acrylic nail sitting right on top of the cereal. It was a French tip nail with hot pink on the tip. I took a picture as soon as I opened it. I called the bakery and they refunded my entire purchase immediately. I am so disappointed as this was my favorite bakery to go to for my weekly pastries. I can't bring myself to go back after finding a finger nail in my food. We also purchased the two last bowls of hot cereal for the day.. wondering how many people ate that hot cereal and do not know a finger nail was scooped out from the bottom. The girl also scooped the hot cereal without gloves on and long nails. I felt the staff handled the situation properly with refunding and apologizing. I know people make mistakes but I can't get over that people ate...
