Coney Island Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Melbourne

After having original Coney Island hotdogs also after trying the local spots, Mustards Hotdogs and Longdoggers (both really good) but the hot dogs here were disappointing. (Disgusting really 🤮 and a waste of money) Stale dry cold bun, dog seemed small and was definitely overcooked and yet not hot, too salty, a small smear of chili. 🙄I just had a Chili dog, very simple, I had two bites and tossed it into the trash. Which is NOT something I do.. I mean just really couldn’t believe it.

The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the soft serve ice cream was really delicious :) *Maybe I should have tried dipping my hotdog into the ice cream hahaha ! 😂😂

Coney Island Hot Dogs, Indialantic, FL. Growing up in New York and eating Sabrett hot dogs either off the corner carts or in a hot dog restaurant, I've learned that what you order on your hot dog should be visible without hunting for it. At Coney Island Hot Dogs at the beach in Florida i was extremely disappointed, I ordered a chili cheese hot dog and got a slice of prepackaged American and a knife spread of chili. No beans were visible I didn't even need a napkin to eat it nothing could spill since it was not there. It's an interesting stop when cruising A1A. I enjoy sitting by the road watching the traffic while enjoying a hotdog. Reason for 2 stars is that they forgot to make my order. After taking a long time and many after me getting their orders, I mentioned that I didn't get mine. The girl told me that someone must have took my order. Well, I was standing near the window and no one walked away with an order like mine. Lying is not ok, if they'd said the truth I'd be fine with it as mistakes happen.
