I've seen others touch on this topic also. The food was good, I cannot complain about that part. And it is the reason for the star going above 1 for me. (But nothing that all special. Not worth the trouble when there are other quality restaurants in the area) On the other hand: our waitress went on a long rant about conspiracy theories and Obama causing COVID. I asked her to stop talking about it in several polite ways, and tried to change the conversation, and told her that I have lost people to the disease. Instead of taking the hint, she doubled down on it (believing I needed to be "educated") and continued on about how "we needed to save our country" (from me I am assuming). Normally I wouldn't complain about something like this, but I asked her to STOP and to drop it multiple times, and when I finally got her to stop, she started "educating me" about how I needed to start listening to Alex Jones for enlightenment. As a 3rd generation native floridian, I'm ashamed to have this kind of establishment local. I worked in the serving industry for 12-14 years (as a waiter, and several other jobs in the same restaurant, throughout this time), and no restaurant I've worked for would have kept employees like this around. Spend your money on a better...
Read moreI have eaten here numerous times in 5 years. I always order the lasagna dinner. This sept. 4th I recieved my lasagna on a plate no tin bake dish. The outer edges of the meal was warm to hot yet the inside was cold. Not like warm but cold as if it was refrigerated stuck in an oven or microwave. I suspect microwave due to outer edges hot yet center was cold. I should have known a problem the minute the meal was served on a plate not a bake tin. A first I ever seen that. As I do not ever send a dish back or complain in front of others as to not embarrass them. I quietly ate the dish cold. The worst lasagna I ever had. I invited 3 people to have dinner with me and to recieve a bill for $200 and get a dish cold left over from the fridge was just beyond incompetent to me. I left a $50 dollar tip to the servers. $250 . I honestly am disgusted now and probably will not eat there again. I had them cater parties, etc. But I believe the incompetence that is starting to fester in all phases of our industries here has struck in casa guiseppes Kitchen. Who nukes a lasagna not fresh baked? And charges over $30 for it? Who in charge let that lasagna get delivered on a plate...
Read moreI happen to be one of the few Italians who dislikes most Italian food. On the other hand, my Polish friends must frequent an Italian restaurant at least once a week. So where do we go, you guessed it, Casa Giuseppe's Italian Grill. This restaurant serves one of the better Italian sauce and their veal dishes actually have real veal. The dish which impressed me and my family the most was the "Zuppa di Pesce" Folks this dish is incredible. We prefer the white sauce as oppose to the red for starters and so it begins with a full pound of linguini cooked al dente along with plenty of grilled snails mixed throughout the pasta, followed by a layer of grilled calamari that melts in your mouth. Next comes a layer of medium size shrimp, then there is the large grilled sea scallops, on top of these beauties lies two large lobster tails along with large pieces of grilled Mahi. Oh! I almost forgot the mussels and baby clams surrounding the entire dish!! Folks honestly, this dish can feed up to four hungry people. Well worth the price and...
