For fast food I like chick fil a.... This is an update where I have taken away stars. I would give them negative if I could. this company is just ridiculous. first of all, we are in a state that is known for lightning, some worlds, lightning Capital and hear these people put lives at stake almost everyday here. with that, they keep the employees outside when the rule of our state is commonly known as when you hear the thunder roar go indoors. well Chick-fil-A doesn't follow that. not at all. they use an app an app that tells them where lightning has struck. however, it does not tell them where it's going to strike in the next moment. I have personally seen a big lightning bolt come striking down. very close like feet and I'm talking just a few feet from an individual who was outside working at Chick-fil-A where they called inside. no because I called the manager and asked why. do you still have employees working outside like this? you are putting them in Jeopardy. I was simply told we have an app that tells us when lightning is close. give me a damn break that is just ignorant where ignorance is not Bliss. it's just ignorant and to ignore the facts that lightning strikes do mame people they also kill people! to put a life in Jeopardy just to bring convenience to the community is insane. it's unacceptable, especially when there are preventative measures that responsible people put in place!! Now look at today we are experiencing extreme weather where A hurricane is coming through. grant you our specific area may only have tropical wind Force from this hurricane. tropical wind forces are heavy and they have a great potential of having tornadoes. it is going across our news and it has been since yesterday. make your safety plan now. have it in place and stay in that safe spot of yours. they don't want you on the roads. those are for first responders. those are four disaster officials to give everybody in the community help. like if our power goes out so they can easily fix it without the general public being in their way, we are supposed to mitigate natural disasters not participate in the harmful effects that come from them. I mean if you are a first responder or work in a hospital or a nursing home where you are responsible for people that cannot move on their own, or are a worker at a place giving shelter to others I can understand you being out to get to work and those types of situations or those who are volunteering to help. But when we're talking a fast food restaurant or a corner store or anything that is of a convenience for the public, all those should be closed. it is very irresponsible to say hey. this is a fast food restaurant and we're open for you to come out and get something to eat. what the heck that is craziness that's not mitigating that's just giving to The side of harm not anything of a help. don't be naive saying people need to eat. people should have prepared already and have food at home or be at a shelter where you'll be fed but to have people travel in conditions like these is just Ludacris. it's greedy and selfish and in that I now loatChick-Fil-A-A. They are a deceiving company. they are not a company that care about human life. They only care about the almighty dollar, Where they use the marketing tactics that they are so Christian that they close on Sunday. they believe people should have time with family and rest and religion and all that which sounds good on the surface doesn't it? but let me tell you to put your life at danger in inclement weather. go against our safety officials that tell you to stay in place inviting you to come and eat during the worst of the weather juet shows they are professionals in the art of deception. Read moreI'm a huge fan of Chick-Fil-A, never a bad experience at any location in any state; mistakes, yes, because we're human it happens but always made right and acknowledged by a manager. I went this morning craving a yogurt parfait-ordered thru drive-thru, employee let me know there wouldn't be any strawberries because the ones they had were bad but they were adding extra of the other fruit in it. I said the only other fruit is blueberries. He said yeah, they're adding more to make up for the strawberries and asked if I still wanted it? I said Yes, that's fine because I love blueberries and asked for extra granola as I always do. I pulled up to window and receive Two bags for just one parfait and straw for my large coke. The parfait has 8 blueberries!! I question the employee and repeat what I was told-he goes to manager and comes back and says, Yeah he said there is extra blueberries-I said there's 8 blueberries🤦🏼♀️ Its not even covering the top of the yogurt! I said that is not extra fruit like I was told or I wouldn't have ordered it can I get more blueberries? He went back to manager in window and came back and says, No, we can't give you more blueberries, sorry. Frustrated with the product which was $4.89 and not wanting to go thru hassle of a refund out of respect for the people in line behind me and the lack of care of management not addressing me personally I leave and pullover in parkinglot to add the granola and theres only 1 granola when I ordered an extra packet. I work in the food industry and am very understanding but when you pay these kind of prices you expect the same quality Chick-fil-a has always been known for and has always provided and Manager acknowledgement. But you'll give me two bags for one small product multiplied by the number of customers they see in a day that's a lot of waste. If you can't provide the same quality even with a substitution then you shouldn't sell/offer the product. I've ordered this countless of times I know the difference. DO Better and if you're going to be an acting manager then address the customer when you're 10 feet away. More disappointed in how it was handled than the actual product...
Read moreAfter having only used the drive thru, curbside service, or the delivery option for this location, I decided to visit this location yesterday, as it was raining I decided to inside as I didn't want any of the staff to have to get wet on the rain to bring my food out to me. I walked inside and there were no other customers waiting, I waited for someone to acknowledge me and take me order, several of the workers looked at me however Noone even spoke to me, after waiting for 20 minutes, a white lady walked in and immediately she was greeted cheerfully, her order was taken, the employee even came around the counter to look at the chik Fila app on her phone and spent a good 10 minutes ensuring that she was helped, even after that nobody tried to help me. I got upset asked for a Manger and asked if this particular chik Fila wasn't accepting Black American patrons because if they weren't to please let me know, so that I could warn other minorities not to spend our money here. The manager them tried to say oh I can help you and proceeded to take my other on a side register, that wasn't located at the front but off to the side making me feel even worse and like I was less than the white couple, he then tried to say oh don't worry about the payment , and I stated no I'm paying for meal, this is not about a free meal, this is about the racial mistreatment and prejudice I experienced at your restaurant, and I did pay for my meal, to add final insult when I received my meal they put "Mr Destiny" on my meal and you can clearly see I am a woman, I was born a woman and hav3 always been a woman, I am not in transition or anything, I had my hair in an afro tied back with a traditional kente cloth and have curves, nothing about me suggested I was a Mr, other than the staff at this particular chik Fila to continue to try to further humiliate me.
