This particular location has always had top-notch service inside and through the drive-thru. But for some reason, over the last several months, their efficiency has dropped considerably. Lines are almost always wrapped around the building and wait times to get your food are averaging between 10 and 15 minutes. 90% of the reason I eat at Chick-fil-A is due to their efficiency and customer service. It would be great if a few more decent food joints would move out this way so that I don't have to sit in line with the entire community of Killearn Lakes!
P.S. I'm currently at 15 mins waiting in line and just made my way around the first loop of the restaurant without having yet arrived at the location to place an order.
P.P.S. After wrapping around the first time, I updated the app to pick up inside. I approached the counter, told the young lady that I had changed my order to pick up inside, and then she proceeded to have a conversation with her adolescent manager, occasionally glancing in my direction. When I asked if I could help them, they turned around and walked off without a word.
P.P.P.S. The order included an ice cream cup and they gave me a knife to eat it with! Why Chick-fil-A?! Why?!
UPDATE 8/19/21 Made the choice to visit again this evening and once again regret my choice. Sat in line for 5 min without the line budging. Since it was a mobile order, I changed the pick up method to pick up inside. Within a couple minutes it said that my order was ready but when I walked in to the pickup area, I sat there for over 5 minutes without being addressed by one employee. They were not busy. I finally walked across the restaurant to address an employee who said that they would be with me shortly. What was frustrating was that there were at least five employees standing around not doing a thing. 10 minutes later, I received my order which was wrong. At that point I just left. Very disappointed. This location is a 180 from what it used to be. Their efficiency and customer service are just about on par as its neighbor... Wendy's. If you are on a schedule, absolutely do not visit this location.
UPDATE 5/9/23 Efficiency (e.g. wait times, line movement, etc.) has definitely improved but quality control is still a bit lacking. Definitely check your order before you leave the line because about 20% of the time, items get left off my order.
UPDATE: 7/14/23 Incorrect order again! I ordered a number 6 sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and they gave me a sausage biscuit without the cheese and egg. I didn't even know a plain sausage biscuit was on the menu. Once again, disappointed! So don't just check your order for the contents but, make sure they actually repair the items...
Read moreThis Chick Fil A is the closest one to my house but my least favorite to visit. I've been three times in the past week and ordered the same thing all 3 times and it's been wrong each time. I'm so used to being able to order and leave at CFA but now I know I need to triple check here.
I always order the grilled club meal with a side salad and a water. Today, I ordered this and when the gentleman in the drive thru said my order back, he said pepperjack cheese. I did not specify my cheese since the default is Colby Jack. I had him change it. At the window, the employee asked if I wanted any sauce besides the dressing on my salad. I asked for an "extra" honey roasted BBQ because last week when I got this sandwich, I didn't get sauce (twice-once on Monday and once on Thursday). Good thing I asked for an extra today because I didn't even get the one that should be served with the sandwich. I'm confused as to why I should have to ask for sauce that comes with a meal? In addition to no sauce today, I also was not given silverware for my salad, the roasted red peppers for it or any napkins.
On Thursday of last week (in the store this time) and ordered the same thing, as I always do, and got American cheese and no sauce for the sandwich. I also ordered a large chocolate cookies and cream shake and got a regular cookies and cream shake (but paid the extra $0.50 for chocolate)...and paid for an ice cream cone that I didn't get (or order).
Unfortunately this Chick Fil A is the most convenient to me, but I have learned my lesson on triple checking not only my order but my receipt...
Read moreOverall I love Chick-Fil-A. I always expect an excellent service and of course to hear one their famous quote “My Pleasure”. Unfortunately, this location needs some TLC. For my surprise some of the reviews are not good. First, I was not greed it. The front counter was looking like a mess and very unclean. On the counter have all kind of refills just laying there. Maybe, on this particular day the restaurant was short of staff; the employees seems to be stress out. A clean restaurant is essential to creating a comfortable and welcoming ambiance that attracts customers and prompts them to visit again. Sticky booths, untidy tables, bits and crumbs around the floor, or dusty lights can disrupt the restaurant's atmosphere and compel customers to see the next best restaurant instead. I was surprised the staff do not provided an excellent service like you ALWAYS expect from this restaurant….they have an attitude like the other mediocre fast foods restaurant “McD” or “BK”. Maybe this management can use the CARE model to show the four qualities present in every Legendary Service provider: Committed, Attentive, Responsive, and Empowered. My fries didn’t taste good, I think it was time to change the oil and they just gave me few of them. Just remember CUSTOMERS...
