Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Florida

I'm not the type to write bad reviews, but this experience at Chilis yesterday was the worst I've ever received anywhere. So when my partner and I got to the restaurant it looked busy which I expected for a Sunday night. Coming on a weekend I know things might take a while to be served but not as long as it took for us. We had ordered only the Smokehouse combo, with two options of honey chipotle chicken crispers, and for the side of that, we had the fries, boiled corn, and garlic toast. I have many things to point out: We were not given napkins and utensils at the start, which is not a big deal, but we didn't receive anything until we asked for it. Before our food was even served to us, our server came up to us about halfway, asking us what we had ordered because "she couldn't find our order". Mind you it was only one single platter we ordered because we were sharing. So it wasn't like we had anything too complicated. Our food was one SINGLE platter took almost a whole hour to be served to us. After almost a whole hour of waiting, we received our order, we only received HALF of what we ordered, we only received the chicken crispers, and the corn on the cob, which we received the wrong corn, as i had specified i wanted the boiled corn and not the Mexican street corn. our server takes probaly around 5 to 7 minutes to bring back the correct corn i had ordered, plus some sauces i asked for. When we started eating the chicken, we noticed the chicken was cold. Not even warm, COLD. Which, for how long it took for it to be served to us, it seemed like our server forgot about our order in the kitchen, and like our platter was just sitting in a corner of the kitchen with how cold it was. In one of the packs of utensils, we also didn't receive a fork, so we asked for one. When my partner got the new fork and went to eat, she noticed a GRAIN OF RICE, in between the fork. So instead of grabbing us a new set of utensils, she comes back with plastic utensils. Let me not forget to mention that our server, Vanessa, was not attentive at all to us. Not once did she come up to us to ask us how we were doing or if we needed anything. but to be honest, she looked like a brand-new waitress who couldn't handle the 4 or fewer tables she had. I understand it can seem difficult to be a new waitress, but at least check up on your tables, as your performance...

I've been to this Chili's a few times and the food has always been good. But very slow service and long wait times after ordering food. But this past weekend I called in an order. I was put on hold twice within a 15 minute period and my order still wasn't taken. I hung up and called back and was put on hold again for a few minutes before the woman who answered took my order. Then when I placed it, I started to drive there which was about a 10 minute drive. I got there, even waited in the car for 5 minutes, went inside just so I could pay for the order and get that part of my waiting time out of the way so I could just collect my food and take off. He told me they were just starting to make my food so the order was not put in yet. I waited about 20 to 25 minutes before he gave me my food and realized I was missing the crispy asparagus I ordered. He comes back about 5 minutes later with a side of grilled asparagus and not the appetizer crispy asparagus I ordered. So now this is more wait til, he said they were just battering them. Then another man came up to me as I was still waiting. I'm assuming he was a manager due to him being dressed differently than the other employees and tells me if I ordered the crispy asparagus he is going to have to charge me an additional $6 bucks. All that wait time, I've already paid and your employee messed up my order and on top of that i still have to wait for the asparagus while the first part of my order is already getting cold? Are you kidding me? That's the last time I will be visiting that...

Haven't been to this place in months due to service. Today 4/5/19 I see why I've stayed away. Walk in and waited 5 minutes to be seated waiting on someone to seat my son and I. Sat at the table and waited 8 minutes before someone came over and actually asked if we were being taken care of. She kindly took our order and left. Not even a minute later she brought our water. 20 minutes went by and nothing. Not even the appetizer. 2 tables sat across from us whom arrived after us with a different server got their appertizer and main course before we got our appetizer. After we finished the appertizer we were waiting another 15 minutes for our meal before I finally called our waitress which was 4 tables down sitting talking to her friends or family members. After I called her over it took her a few minutes because of course she had to finish her conversation first before she attended us. I asked her to please check on our food and she said "let me go and check for you". Finally 50 minutes after sitting down and watching 2 other tables get their meal and a third table getting their appetizer we finally got out meal by someone other than our server. Never again. Have been going to this.place for years and everytime I go I'm hoping the service has changed. I only go to this place once maybe twice a year. One time the service was so bad, we had a server that was so high he couldn't even Stand still. That day we waited for food for almost 1.5 hours. Stopped going for 3 years. I see nothing has changed. Never...
