China Gourmet — Restaurant in Florida

A+ We ordered here for the first time on a Saturday night. It was easy to order on the app and it was ready in 20-minutes. We ordered 3-dinners with the egg roll and fried rice included. The bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, and the general-tos chicken dinners; all $8.75 each. All three dinners were hot & fresh, tasted delicious and the containers were packed full of the main course quality meats & vegetable w/the eggrolls separately! Now I want to try the appetizers, soups, and more entrees next time! It's refreshing to find a place that offers so much at a decent price! I'm not sure how long they have been there?

The little place was very neat & clean, well-lit with plenty of parking at the door! They offered a table with various types of sauces and utensils w/chopsticks to chose from.

We’ve only gone to one place for many years on SR64 but they changed ownership and it doesn't taste anywhere as good, unfortunately! I had the ”task” of finding somewhere else; I began reading all the Google posts about each takeout oriental restaurant in East Bradenton/Lakewood Ranch before I made a decision. We will be staying at this takeout restaurant as long as the food stays as fresh & delicious as our first order!

Normally I would suggest this place... it's my go-to in a pinch, and normally we feed a large group at the tune of anywhere between $70-$100 per visit. However, I will never give this place another penny.

Last night after THEY messed up an order and I delivered the food to my family I had to run an errand. I got a call that my daughter's dish was not correct; I called the store to tell them of THEIR mistake and was told the replacement would be ready in 5 minutes. I went to the restaurant, my replacement was in fact ready, however, I was asked where the "wrong item" was. I reiterated the same story I said, that I was out and received a call. I had a choice to drive all the way back home, or to pay. The hassle of driving home was not worth the $8, so I paid. Mind you, this place knows us and I would assume repeat customers would be trusted.

Again, food is decent, but if I'm going to be treated like a criminal, I would prefer to go somewhere that I don't always spend close to...

Food is great! However, they Caucasian lady that mans the phones and is in the front is absolutely horrible. Her attitude makes me feel as if I am bothering her when ordering. When I ask a question she responds hastily. and this last time o ordered I had her on speaker phone and everyone listening said the same thing. It's every time. I go past a Chinese place to go there and their Chinese food is just as good only difference is their sweet and sour sauce is better. Every time I order which is not much lately cause I use the other place because of her I get that same attitude on the phone and in person. That attitude reminds me why I rarely order and honestly that was probably the last time I will order from their even if the...
