I give opening week pass
Checked the menu out online and got all excited to try the You Jel burger. What a disappointment. An average at best burger. Bottom of the roll was completely soggy. No flavor or heat consideration it’s a jalapeño based burger. Fries had so much seasoning on them that they were barely edible. Also had the Buffalo cauliflower which were very good but nothing special. Atmosphere is nice to watch sports and have drinks but I’ll stay away from the food until they get better established it this new location.
7/6/25 Decided to give this place a second try. I quit drinking alcohol a month ago so my first disappointment was when I asked if they had any NA beers, and unfortunately, they only had Heineken, which I don’t really care for, but took one because of no other options. This time I got the Merica burger. Instead of asking me how I wanted to cook. I was just asked if I want it pink or not. I went with pink, which I assumed as medium, but it was rare at best. Fortunately, I was able to choke it down. Just like last time my bun looked nothing like in the picture on their website. Instead, it was completely flattened out and soggy. I had to pull pieces off to eat it because I couldn’t lift up the sandwich. The bartender asked if I’d like fries with it and I said yes, I didn’t realize they would give me a full size order which my wife and I could only eat half of because it was so large. They charged me over five dollars for the fries. I thought they would just add a few fries to my plate for a small up charge because they were added to my burger. My bad for not knowing they just don’t give you an option of having fries with your burger for a up charge. I would’ve opted out if I knew it was gonna be another 5 1/2 dollars. The burger was supposed to be blackened but it was pretty much tasteless and blah. I don’t even know if they put salt and pepper on it. The tobacco fried onion rings that go on top of the burger were so over cooked that I had a scrape most of them off. My wives salad was a decent salad except the chicken breast that comes on the salad was a pretty generic piece of chicken with absolutely no seasoning or markings. It almost looked like it was pre-cooked and maybe just warmed up to put on the salad. The only time they asked me if everything was OK was when I was on my last bite so I didn’t have a chance to let them know or show them how bad it was. We also sat at the bar and the floor servers would reach over me every time they needed straws, napkins, and to pick up the drinks from the bar. And then hung out there and talked to each other while we were eating. Gave it a second chance I don’t like to strike out so I don’t think I’ll go for a third time nor would I recommend it to anybody unless they just want to watch sports and drink. I’m not the only one that has said stuff like this when I read the past reviews. For $43 for a burger fries and a salad glass of water and one beer I expect to have something that’s a little more edible. I still tipped over 20% Because I don’t blame the bartender for the food or the options for beers. I can’t be the only one that feels this way and I’m sure there are people that love it. I owned a restaurant for 36 years with my sister. We had complaints sometimes but we used them to correct the justified problems. If you read my previous review, I pretty much complained about the same type things. It was obvious to me they don’t read their reviews . Fortunately, there are plenty more restaurants in this area for us to frequent. It’s only my opinion. Take it for...
Read moreFirst visit with my adult daughter, not very impressed. Only gluten free options are the rice bowls and they are small, not really appetizing. My daughter had the Mexican corn , she thought it was ok. Most of the prices were a tad too much for the item(s). We will try this place another time but get something else. The atmosphere was nice, everything was clean and new. The couple sitting in front of us was talking about how long they been waiting for food. Maybe 5 minutes later, I asked if they been waiting long? They both replied "too long at the sometime ". Moments later they left their table and told the bar tender something, then walked out. There was three tables occupied in the dinner room and five people at the bar. The table to our left was two people maybe mother and daughter, they definitely looked uncomfortable and not very pleased with their experience. You can tell by the body language. This is at least seems to be like any other bar with this same style, nothing different. Stick with the burgers, appetizers and drinks that's your best bet. And for those that have issues eating at like Hooters or places where women wear tight outfits this is the same type of place, if it bothers you just be aware. Like I said earlier, we will try this place one more time and stick with the burgers, I'll have to bring a Gluten free bun and see if they will use it for my burger. I'll update if we decide to try this place again. " Another beef 'o' brady's, style". Good luck to this location, hope it...
Read moreWe finally got a chance to try this place. The service was great. It was very slow because they just opened at lunch time. We were disappointed with the beer selection. We were under the impression they had a large beer selection. Not so. No porters or stouts, nothing dark. If you like pilsners or IPA's, you'll be fine. We were disappointed with the food. I had the Kona Blue burger. I was given two choices on how I like it cooked. Pink, or no pink. I requested as much pink as possible. Unfortunately,it came out very "well" done. Not done to my requested very pink. I found the patty to be very thin and dry. My wife's burrito bowl just "ok", was a little too cheesy for her liking. In their defense, it is bar food. I think what I was most disappointed with was they asked what side I wanted with my burger. I was given the choice of, fries, sweet potato fries, coleslaw, or a side salad. I picked the salad. I assumed it was included because it was offered. Imagine my surprise when I saw a $6 upcharge on the check for my side salad! There was no mention of it costing more. Do all sides cost more? If so, let your customers know when they order. The salad was very fresh. That was probably the best part of the meal. We paid our bill, tipped our server 20% and left. In my opinion, lunch was very expensive for what it was. $9.00 for a 12oz. draft beer. $6.00 for a side...
