China Hut — Restaurant in Florida

To whom it may concern, whoever wrote any negative reviews about China Hut Take Out Restaurant, must not know what is good food, cleanliness , and how hard the workers are working at this Wonderful little restaurant. Almost two years ago, this Husband and Wife took over the original China Hut Restaurant, and thank goodness they did! Since they started, the restaurant is a million times cleaner then ever. The kitchen is wide open for everyone to see. Nothing is hidden behind a wall or curtain! I’ve worked in the food industry for many years and know what it takes to make a successful restaurant. All of the employees are honest, friendly and clean. The food is “always fresh”. I’ve actually seen with my own eyes a customer made a mistake while ordering, and the Owner gladly helped the customer out by remaking the food for them. Unfortunately, that order made for the customer had to be thrown out. They don’t re-sell the food! They make everything fresh to order, and the food is delicious! My family and friends all love the food they make. If someone wants them to change the receipe to their taste, they do it gladly. The new Owners of China Hut Restaurant, in Boynton Beach, have been working day and night to make sure their customers are always Happy! I’m glad to have such a good restaurant nearby my home, it reminds me of my favorite Chinese restaurants in New York! Maybe my neighbors and I will get lucky if this restaurant expands to a full service, sit down restaurant!! That my friends is a big compliment to this little take out restaurant! This is In response to the customer named “Sabrina”. Thank you for taking my advice to try China Hut. Unfortunately you all got sick, but interesting that no one else ever complained about that restaurants food. I hope you went to your doctor with the whole family, who would most likely tell you that a big stomach virus and flu has been going around our area. Sometimes people should really explore the problems they ‘re having before pointing a finger at any “hard working” establishment. Again I’m sorry your whole family was sick, but truly the next time you point a finger at anyone or anyplace please consider the harm you might do to them. All I know is I go there to eat very often and I never had a bad meal yet, nor do I know of anyone that I’ve sent there coming back to me with a complaint either. I’m sure your intentions were good, but I suggest the next time you have such an issue, you should contact the place directly to find out if anyone else got sick. That would allow them to be sure no one else would get sick if in fact it was true! As I wrote in the beginning one thing I love about China Hut is that everything is extremely fresh and very clean always. By the way, how was the food that you ate and probably finished?!! Finally new owners that actually take pride in the restaurant. The restaurant changed ownership a few months ago that I was told and decided to give it another chance. They have cleaned the restaurant a coat of paint. I ordered roast pork with mixed vegetables very tasty nice sized portion good presentation. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We were talking about how hard it is for her due to the negativity caused by the previous owners. Hopefully everybody will give them a chance. I believe in rewarding a restaurant that cares about its customers. This was the review I had left below about the previous ownership: Old review A once good local restaurant is no more!!! The owners are not customer service oriented. It again changed owners. This is very sad especially since the plaza is under renovations and traffic is limited. I have lived near the restaurant for over 30 years and order at least weekly. Today, we ordered a Shrimp Lo Mein combo and a large Young Chow Fried Rice $24.98 (WOW) price increase. We do not like the packaged mustard and always ask for house mustard. . There has not been any issues swapping NOW they charge $1.00 for each. This is ridiculous especially when the powder costs pennies to make the amount. it was more than insulting when I called their new order line and they advised that the charge .50 There are several other restaurants in the area that are much more customer oriented and do not nickel and dime. It is not the price rather the principal. They do not list this anywhere on their menu and could care less to retain customers. I guess they charge what they want depending on who picks up the order, today it happened to be my young son and he got taken advantage of which is not correct. If the food was spectacular rather than mediocre it might make the difference. Time to find find a...

I used to order from this place all the time at least 2 times a month.and any where from at least 30 to 60 dollars at a time But no more. Even though the lo main always has like a burnt-ish flavor I never really had a problem with the place till now. About a week ago I ordered food and soda $40.00. When the guy comes to drop food off they forget the soda not too big of a deal so I call the place and let them know. The lady says ok I tell them to bring one back. So like 20 min pass they bring the Soda but the soda is hot like hot hot. So now I have COLD FOOD & HOT SODA I call the place back and the lady says ok I tell the owner and call you back. She did call back and said that the owner said next time we give you one free combo. I will put it in the notes of your profile. Ok I said that’s good. One week later it’s today, I call the lady and said can I use the free order you promised me for the mistake last time she said only combo. Ok still not a big deal I thought she said it was going to be the order but it was a simple misunderstanding. Then the owner gets in the phone and says no I not going to give you anything at all I have a business and I dont give you anything. I said you said last time it for combo just do the combo it don’t have to be whole order. I said I order from you guys all the time never was a bad customer. Not even now. He’s the one yelling and I am talking in a calm tone. He said he don’t care I said I will never order from them again the owner is not a man of his word and doesn't care about his GOOD REGULAR customers.
