Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Florida

The experience is usually always bad because the service is so slow, and the chances of you actually getting what you ordered is very slim, but last Tuesday was even worse they close at 10:00 and I get over there at before 9:00 and get to the drive-in window and get told that they're out of chicken. I'm like how can a chicken restaurant be out of chicken 🍗 over an hour before they closed, when that's what they do is chicken? 🤨 And then there's why didn't they just close their doors early and turn off their lights, so that long lines would not form through the drive-through Lane? Anyways they lost a lot of business that that night because cars were steadily stacking up. Just thought I'd post this for everybody especially the owners so they can know what's going on when they're not there.

So I thought I'd take a chance and give them one more try to maybe purchase some chicken at the Church's Chicken on Mobile highway in Fairfield drive. I get there on a weekday at about 11:30 a.m. I wait through the line at the drive-in window about 20 to 30 minutes, I get up to the drive through order station and I'm told that there won't be any chicken for another 20 minutes. I've already waited in line for 20 to 30 minutes and now another 20 minutes and that's probably not right because there's several cars in front of me so they could easily apparently run out again, or have some other caca maniac excuse why they can't serve chicken. (Ironically I was telling my brother about my experience and he said the same thing happened to him) So we're talking about an hour to get chicken through a drive-thru Church's Chicken restaurant. Not exactly what I would call fast food. I told the lady no thanks and I went over to the Citgo gas station at the corner of Navy boulevard and Pace. I was in and out of there in about 3 minutes and prompt service with a smile. Their chicken is just as good or better than Church's Chicken, is reasonably priced, and you don't have to put up with all the havoc like you have to at Church's Chicken. It is almost like the servers at Church's Chicken are proud to tell you that you can't buy chicken from them today. Like it's some kind of power move to put you in your place. If you ask me the whole crew needs to be fired and hire people that know what they're doing, appreciate having a job, are customer oriented, and know how to anticipate the lunch rush and that have a "yes we can attitude" and not a "no we can't attitude".Save yourself the trouble and just go to the Citgo store to begin with, and you are guaranteed to have a much happier lunch experience without all of the stress. I just can't imagine Church's Chicken being in business very much longer. I am posting this just in case the owners do not know what's going on at their franchises. Hopefully they will see this post and make changes before it's too late, because they do have a good product. That restaurant is losing a lot of business just because of poor management, and lazy employees that don't care, and they are losing some customers...

Went to this Churches for the first time...Went at the slowest time of the day according to the website. Tried to call them and their number has been disconnected. Was calling because the website says they are temporarily closed...Just figured, since there are 2 other fast food chicken places near by, I would just stop by...If they aren't open I would jump down the road. 3:45ish on Sunday 1/17/2021 pulled into a very packed drive thru. People trying to join the line from 2 different entrances...Not good. I wait in line as I entered from the front. About 4:15 I actually got to the speaker to order and I ordered an 8pc mixed...The speaker said there is a lot of orders ahead of you, are you willing to wait 30 minutes as we just dropped some more chicken...SO a fast food chicken joint at the the slowest time in the afternoon ran out of chicken...I gave 2 stars just because the guy who I let in ahead of me actually thanked me for letting him in line. The place actually deserves a 0...Went up the road to KFC...Had about the same amount of people in line but it only took 10 minutes to get to the order/window/paid and headed home. The guy I let in was still waiting in line...never had Churches Chicken and I...

I placed a $47.85 order in the Church’s app on 11/04. I never got my order. The delivery driver texted that they were out of chicken and okra, which is what I ordered. The order was somehow cancelled. I called the store and a lady said she told the driver they were out of okra, not chicken, and to contact me to see if I wanted another side. She said the driver just left and I needed to contact them for my refund. But my account shows payment was made to Church’s Texas Chicken.

I tried texting the driver back and got an automated response from Uber Eats. I cannot reach anyone there. I have asked for a refund through the Church’s app and uploaded text messages and proof of purchase with no reply. I like Church’s chicken and ate there often. I moved to the other side of town and the restaurant is a distance now, so I thought I’d try the app. What a disaster! In this economy, who can afford to just give away $50? Not me! I want my money back!
