Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Florida

I pull up there is literally no cars ahead of me I waited 5 mins for someone to take my order . I come up to the window to pay I ended up waiting 7 mins (YES I WAS WATCHING THE TIME) for someone to approach the window. There was food already sitting up there like MOUNDS of chicken & biscuits that looked old. Someone finally came to the window a girl with red Christmas nails , although there was 4 other people in there doing nothing. She didn’t even get my order right I kept having to repeat myself over & over in English & Spanish. It was frustrating . I gave her my card which I regret because why didn’t I just drive off with all that wait time in the first place 🤦🏽‍♀️ I get the food drive to McDonald’s parking across the street to eat & the food is DISGUSTING ! You could rob someone with how hard & stiff it was LITERALLY could clock someone in the head with it & successfully knock them out. The chicken wasn’t fresh & extremely bland . The drink tasted like sparkling water for a SPRITE ! The only decent thing were the mash potatoes. Customer service ZERO STARS Food ZERO STARS Atmosphere ZERO STARS The best churches you can go to is the one on Fowler. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have went there or my fiancé the food is always super hot & fresh. The customer service is excellent as well very sweet people. But this place just tear it down & go remodel the one on Fowler they actually deserve it...

As others have stated, it is extremely difficult to order at this location unless you are fluent in Spanish. Not sure how that works when you're working at an American restaurant in a huge metropolitan American city but yet seemed like only the manager spoke and understood English correctly as she had to continually stop whatever she was doing to come translate customers orders for her employees. On top of that they were messing up orders and also overcharging as well as not charging customers for certain items basically because they did not understand what the customers were saying.... soooo how are you even working here??? Needless to say placing my order was a pain in the a** and definitely not worth the wait as my $5 2-piece special was overcooked & not really edible, just hard crust and overcooked, dry meat. The fries were soggy and undercooked. Everything taste as if they are using old dirty grease. The only bright spot was they were nice enough but the over all speed to take an order, accuracy of the order and quality of the food was beyond underwhelming. Basically threw it out when I got home. I would NOT suggest anyone go to this location... just not worth the time and money. Church's Chicken has definitely declined in quality over the years and this location is a clear example of how the fast food industry could care less about the serving public and more about lining...

I ordered the $19.99 family meal with half of the chicken spicy and half of the chicken mild. My family was so excited to be going to churches to get a family meal and we couldn't wait to eat it. We got home and we discovered that whoever made the chicken forgot to put any seasoning on the chicken so it had absolutely no flavor at all.

The Mild chicken had no flavor and the spicy chicken had no seasoning at all. We had stopped going to this restaurant because they did us like this the last time we were there. We gave it a second chance thinking they had changed and it is the exact same thing, the chicken has no flavor and whoever is making the chicken keeps forgetting to season the chicken.

Also, Whoever made the biscuits forgot to put enough honey on the biscuits because they were very bland too. It was a terrible meal. The meal was so bad, I almost drove back there to ask for a refund, but instead, I decided to salvage the meal and try to add some seasoning to the chicken just so we could endure it. Plus I am writing this review so that whoever reads it can be saved from making the same mistake thinking that they are going to get a decent seasoned meal if they go there.
