service is excellent: i was in a hurry but craving some milk tea, and i called ahead to ask if i could order ahead. (i dont reccomend doing that unless you know youll come pick it up) the lady who spoke with me was super kind and offered to do it for me even though they normally dont since people usually end up never picking it up. it made it possible for me to get boba instead of starbucks (needed something on the go.)
the tea is great, i ordered thai tea with brown sugar boba and it tastes just as it should. though if you dont have nails the pop-top is really hard to open. not to worry, i have a trick for you if youre like me and have no nails: take the pointy end of the boba straw (in wrapper) and wedge it under. it provides just enough space to get your finger under to open it. my one complaint about the tea is that it was room temperature, but my guess is thats because i ordered ahead when that isnt usual, so its not a huge deal, i just love cold tea.
as for the donuts: i see a lot of reviews here saying the donuts are "raw" or undercooked or wrong or something... thats because they arent a normal donut. my donuts were cooked well, but because the recipe of the donut is different it results in a very soft and chewy dough. its quite similar to the texture of boba pearls actually. if youve ever actually eaten raw dough, you know it tastes wrong and is too chewy: this mimicks the good parts of the chew without the incorrect taste. its quite lovely. next time though, i think ill just get non-iced mochinuts, as the icing is very thick and similar to fondant, so im not that fond of it.
TLDR: pros: excellent service, good tea, good mochinuts
cons (mostly very small): donut icing is too fondant-like, tea was a bit warm, lids are hard to open if you're a nail biter.
close to a 5 star establishment in my eyes, just needs a bit of fine tuning that im sure will...
Read moreThe cutest place to go! I went around 1 hour before they closed and the lady there was so nice! Asked her a couple questions on what she recommended to drink and she was more than happy to answer, and my Boba fruit tea was so good! I got two of them while I was going around and playing some games. I definitely recommend the peach fruit tea with the strawberry popping Boba. Very refreshing! The games here are claw games, and you can win plushyâs or little keychains, and they have gotcha machines where you can get little figurines. The plushyâs here arenât the kind of plastic plush like at a fair, theyâre definitely higher quality! And the claw machines are the type where you can actually win stuff. They really grabbed the plushyâs. I definitely recommend this place to any age. I had lots of fun. The games have plushyâs from Sanrio, PokĂ©mon, Disney, etc.. The lady even saw me struggling on the cinnamon roll plushy with the pineapple outfit, which is the one I really wanted. She took some pity on me and came and rearranged them, and I finally was able to get it! Great atmosphere, Super nice staff, overall a very, very fun place to come, hang out, and try some good food! Iâll definitely be...
   Read moreDisappointing.
Went Sunday and got the mochinuts, fruit smoothies, and a hot Cheeto corn dog. The mochinuts we're chewy and didn't taste super fresh or particularly good... They tasted like something you would buy in a pack in a store. The fruit smoothies were extremely disappointing, mine tasted like crushed ice with maybe a half tablespoon of flavoring. Maybe the other teas taste better, but given how sad this trip was I doubt I'll be back to try any other flavors. There's better boba just across the street at Chi Chop. The hot Cheeto corn dog was ok. The Cheeto/corn dog dough was very crunchy and dry and the hot dog itself was nothing to write home about. I feel like I could've made something better at home. I will note they did not have cheese when we went so maybe that would have made it better? But I highly doubt it.
Inside was cute looking but very warm and not enough seating.
The staff was pleasant and pretty speedy given the amount of customers.
All in all, the quality and flavor was not worth the price tag, and there are better...
