Clean Meals Miami — Restaurant in Florida

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this company. I ordered a one week maintenance meal plan at $75.00 including delivery, and every day there was a problem. The first day I received lunch plan quinoa salad instead of fish which was fine. The other four days I received salad with wilted lettuce or chunks of chicken with 2 vegetables. I never received a full meal with wild rice, chicken breast and veggies. When sent photos by Jonathan, my meal was not the one in the photo. I was not given any explanation why there were errors except that they have alot of customers. I also ordered and paid $30.00 for extra insulated bag in error because I didnt know you did not need to order one. I spoke with Jonathan every day (who was helpful and pleasant) and he apologized but the owner of this company will not refund the $30.00, or compromise on discounting my next week meal order. I have cancelled my subscription and would not recommend this company. Very disappointed and frustrated.

Response to owner: I never spoke to "Beny" about my meal plan or having option to switch it from dinner to lunch etc, or explanation about meal plans. The only thing I was told is that the "paleo diet" that I didnt order did not have carbs. Also I was told I did not need to order an extra $30.00 bag. I did in error because my first order was directly online and I didn't speak with anyone before ordering. For future customers. As I walked in, there was no one to greet you nor any other client there. I waited about 2 minutes for someone to come up, I didn’t see a menu on the wall nor printed so I asked if they were only meal prep or they served to walk in customers, she said walk in customers are “welcomed”. I asked what kind of food they offered and her response was “food” and I was like is there a menu or something I can look at or what’s the process here? And with her mouth she pointed at 4 frames in the wall with four “poke” options. I ordered the “Clean Salmon”. Attached are the pictures of my terrible experience. By the way, I waited 15+ minutes for the lady to come back from the kitchen while my bowls were left open on the counter. The salmon is not raw, it is a wannabe ceviche with tons of vinagre, it’s almost un-eatable. Also, it’s missing the shallots, the seaweed, the yuzu. I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but I had to from how let down I was… this is a place that has such great pictures of their food but in reality the food is no where near what the pictures show you. I ordered their Clean Tuna, expecting to have the raw tuna but instead I got it seared… okay no biggie… but the taste of fish overpowered the whole bowl and was not enjoyable.

The ingredients were supposed to be: Tuna, ginger, fried shallots, seaweed salad, mango, green and white onion, cucumber, cilantro, cherry tomatoes, sesame and yuzu shoyu.

and I did not get the ginger, fried shallots, seaweed salad or mango. (They placed spinach and pineapple instead?)

Now besides the taste and looks, the woman who was preparing it was using her bare hands picking the veggies and fruits!!!
