Sushi Cafe & Shilla Korean BBQ — Restaurant in Doral

This hard to say but, you have to treat people with respect I been going to this restaurant for about a 1 year and when my boyfriend friend was working as chef helper everything was ok but he left there was no problem but today they just lost there mind or are being cruel.I had to wait about 1 hour or more so they can serve me a raw pice of meat that I’m going to cook and a tofu soup, they were not busy first they serve a table of 6 people there food before me and they had got there like 10 or 15 after us big table full of food second they serve another table of 3 people who came like 20 minutes after us all there food. No one came to ask me if there was something wrong I had to get up 30 minute in waiting ask the waitress for my food she came back 10 minute later saying they are cutting the meat waited 20 minute got up ask the same waitress she was on the phone couldn’t listen to me told another waitress to talk to me told her if she could please see what going on with the food.my boyfriend is mad and want to leave. After every waiter,owner and chef saw me setting there not getting anything no one said anything likeI’m sorry for wait they were just looking I sat there for 15 more and then my food came out. Less meat than usual and the soup had no egg then I had to get up from my seat again because no one came to my table to serve me water go ask another waitress if she could bring me some water. Then she come after I’m finish to ask me the waitress who supposedly was serving my table that only took the order for the food never saw her come to my table to serve my food or bring me water or ask me everything ok I basically had to ask any other waitress if they could (help me) o get up from my seat all the time to look for them and then after I’m done eating she come and ask me if I want dessert you got to be joking politely I said just the bill. I don’t know why the owner or manager will not care but I’m not a animal or a beggar I pay for what I’m going to eat so why treat me like that I did not want to cuz a scene I was hungry I had a hangover, I had not eating anything all day just got up from bed at 6pm to go to that restaurant to eat meat because they are 8 minuets drive from my house I did not want to go and drive to another restaurant I just wanted to get over it and eat my food but I seen dog restaurant treat better there doggy costumer .I have posted pictures of there food and social media and I always said this place was nice to come to but after today I’t just blow my mind how people treat other human being like that it just plain...

I got the Galbi Bento Box for the lunch special, a taro bubble tea and a bottle of grape Soju. The Galbi was tender and well flavored, and the kimchi was good but not as fresh as I’ve had at other places. The service was quick and everyone who attended to me was kind. I am giving three stars because of what I believe to be a scam they are running on their Soju prices. When I got the bill, I was surprised to see how expensive it was seeing as I only asked for these three items. Usually Soju at the liquor store is no more than $6. The specific brand I got (wonsha) I’ve had numerous times and it always costs $5-6. Now, I understand in a restaurant the price may be hiked up a couple dollars. But to have the bottle be over three times the price seemed suspicious to me, it was $18! When I got the bill, it didn’t even say soju on the receipt, the soju was listed as “Good Times” which I also found strange. I asked the waiter about it and he told me that is just how they list soju in their computer system. He offered to take a photo of the computer screen to show me, but I didn’t really care to see as I already could tell I was being scammed. I have worked in a shady restaurant before so I am familiar with certain practices like these. I don’t think is the waiters fault though, but rather the management’s. So I went to ask a woman who seemed to be the manager, and she told me the same thing. She said that different sojus have different prices and that was the price of theirs. I told her that brand of Soju has never been that much. I asked to see the price of the soju on the menu but she said they don’t list it on the menu (hmm I wonder why) I told her that even at restaurants, Soju is never that much, she just said “oh I’m sorry” and looked away, seemingly hoping I would just go away, which I did - I wasn’t going to cause a scene over a few extra bucks. While the food is ok and service is not bad, I think they are scamming people on the soju to make extra profit off of people who they think don’t know better. It’s just unfortunate and sucks to feel taken advantage...

If you're into grilling your own dinner in a family style setting, this Korean BBQ restaurant is great! The food is delicious, consisting of fresh ingredients. The servers are courteous, helpful, and professionally friendly! We ordered the C combo and it brings a large variety/cuts of meats. We did come on a mid-week day so it wasn't very full, but I did call ahead to ensure that a reservation was not needed (it was not) (rule of thumb: always call and double check on this, just in case). The only reason that I'm not giving them a 5 start rating is because we did have a little bit of a wait for the actual food. Once we were seated, we got our drinks, but it took a good half hour post ordering to get the actual food for the grill. I'd like to point out that they did acknowledge that there was a delay and apologized. Also some of the drinks we wanted were sold out, so we had to settle for alternates. I am not mad however, at having ordered their lemonade, it was fresh and refreshing! The Thai donuts the kids ordered for dessert were cooked perfectly, moist and fluffy with just the right amount of powdered sugar and when you dip it into the dipping sauce consisting if condensed milk and chocolate drizzle it just brings it all together! Something to know, they are open till 10pm, but they stop seating for Korean BBQ at 9pm; so you must get there before then. Once seated you can enjoy until they close. They do serve other things till 10pm.... great little place,...
