I started working here Monday afternoon my trainer was Sam I have been in the serving industry for 15 years I would have been in training 4 days serving tables with Sam this week , Sam had told me multiple times Monday night and Tuesday night that I was doing great I had to remember the whole menu by Thursday to take a written exam but i remembered it by my second night which was last night we were super busy but my trainer had faith in me enough to where she told me to go ahead and go take orders , well as I’m doing so the owner/manager Vikki walks to my trainer and gets upset because I took an order that was completely right , with saying that not only did my trainer SAM tell me I was doing great BUT EVERY TABLE I HAD THE PLEASURE OF GREETING/SERVING noticed I was doing FABULOUS and complimented me on doing so as well as said they could tell it was not my first time serving. I am a very friendly people person and loved being able to meet everyone however when I walked into work this afternoon I was called to the back to be let go of because my trainer SAM supposedly told them I wasn’t taking feedback properly but she told me I was doing GREAT. In my opinion and everyone is entitled to one but even the cook manager could not look me into my eyes when the owner Dan was letting me go because I stated I know the complete menu in two days as well as SAM did not say these things to me. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING HERE OR EATING HERE FOR THAT MATTER. I asked the owner Dan if he could further explain since SAM told me I was doing great and all I get was I’m sorry it’s just not going to work out. I am completely uderly upset with this whole turn out very...

Not sure if our server was new or just wasn't in the mood tonight but we had to wait quite a while to order soft drinks and then he took forever bringing it back. Everyone else was working their butts off. I just think our server must have had an off day or something but the food was exceptional. You can't beat the prices on their steaks. A 1 lb prime rib huge. I could only half of it $27 with a side! You can't get that anywhere like that. Meals come with endless salad which is amazing, rolls and cinnamon butter or regular butter depending on your preference and the tall drinks, They're $13 but they're huge. I couldn't even get through all mine tonight. We've gone to the one in Tampa once before for my birthday in March so we decided to try the sebring location and I love the atmosphere and the looks outside. I didn't get any pictures of that though, but if you're going there for like a birthday, they have a huge piece of chocolate cake and a huge piece of carrot cake that is enough to share with the whole table. We were two stuffed to get it this time. One thing about this Cody's and the one in Tampa is large portions! So go there with an empty belly and expect to have a meal for later in that day or the next day which I purposely did. That way I could enjoy my steak for more than one day!!! Definitely worth the drive and is definitely my new favorite restaurant!!! $146 plus a tip for an appetizer of cheesy garlic shrimp, 2 large steak dinners (prime rib & porterhouse), a combo platter of ribs and BBQ chicken, sides for all meals, endless salad and bread along with 3 alcoholic drinks, 2 pops and leftovers for tomorrow for each of us. A win win all...

I do NOT recommend Cody's at all for any reason! My family consisting of 4 young children, my husband and myself went there in the evening. It wasn't very full or busy. It started out good but end terribly! The waitress never returned to fill our drinks; she never even asked. We all left the restaurant very thirsty and we left to go to a store to buy water! My son got the smallest steak on the menu. We ordered it medium and it came out completely rare. Completely rare! The waitress came to our table ONCE to ask about the food and we sent our son's steak back to get cooked as ordered. It took 20 minutes to return to us! 20 minute! My husband and I each ordered a porterhouse steak. I've never eaten that cut of steak before. I ate 4 bites out of it total. it was absolutely disgusting. It tasted horrible. My husband tried two bites and said the steak was bad. The waitress returned once to ask about the meal and I told her about my steak and my sons. She had the manager come over who was very understanding. At the very beginning, the waitress told us that the children would each eat free since we ordered three adult entrées. When she brought the bill, everything was on there and I asked her about it and she did go take them off she said. We were charged for a salad and paid for it. The salad was not a special one and it was supposed to be included in the mea as the side. We rarely eat out as it's a treat for our family and Cody's was a FAIL and a total DISAPPOINTMENT!!! If you value your money, time, want a drink at all times with your meal and a tasty steak do NOT go here!!! We will...

This was our first time finally trying Cody’s. And, we are definitely coming back!!! WOW! I mean… WOW!!! We were greeted at our table by Michelle, our friendly and attentive waitress, who drew her name and her manager’s name, Vicki, in crayon on the table paper (see the last pic below). She then introduced the menu and returned with our beers and took our order. We were serendipitously surprised to learn that we were in on the Early Bird Special time (ordering by 5:59 pm every day). Yay! So. for starters, the bottomless salad tasted great in honey mustard dressing which pairs nicely with the buns served with cinnamon butter… Then came the buffalo shrimp appetizer. Love the light and crispy batter and the shrimp was cooked just right, nowhere near rubbery. The combo texture blends perfectly with our draft beer. Before we finish the shrimp, Michelle served us the slow cooked prime rib. Mmmmmmm… it is just scrumptious. Love the au jous and raw horseradish blend too. The baked sweet potato side with cinnamon butter adds to yet another bursts of tasty sensations. Being Carnivores though not by this meal, we devoured the prime ribs in no time!!! Then Michelle asked if we’d like some dessert. Why not? We’re still going on the Thanksgiving weekend. Did you see the size of the towering carrot cake?! 😲 Michelle did warn us about the size. But, boy oh boy! We ended up getting a piggy bag on the good half of the cake….

I was visiting family and they said this place was recommended. The restaurant was very busy and a wait list was created right after we were seated. Parking was the big problem. With some reserved for curb side pickup we had to park in mall parking a short distance away. Not usually an issue but my wife can't walk well. Once seated our drink order was taken promptly. After the drinks we ordered appetizers. My brother had onion ring stack and i had bacon cheese fries. The onion rings came with a mild horse radish sauce to dip them in. Both were pretty good and fresh made. My dinner was the 14 oz Ribeye and 1 side i chose fries. The steak was well marbled and could perfectly. Fries we're warm. The salad that came with the meal is only available with ranch and only one serving. They brought us a second bowl of rolls when we asked. Overall very good service. They kept my sweet tea filled which is my biggest issue with restaurants. If my glass sits empty to long while waiting on food I'll reduce the servers tip. But they had dedicated staff just to drinks and they were right on time. Now Covid-19: If your picky about table spacing i don't recommend here especially if busy. Some people coming in and leaving didn't use masks. I'm not concerned about it to much because none were coughing or sneezing. I used my mask but used to it around Clearwater eating out. So i recommend this place based on food and service.
