I put in a complaint on the website, hoping to have this experience resolved privately (even by just acknowledging it), but received no response in over a week. I will now share out experience publicly...We've been to this location twice and both times were complete opposite experiences. The first visit was fabulous! We'd place an online order and when we arrived we followed the directions and soon enough our food was brought out by a super nice employee. That positive experience encouraged us to go back...which is where it went downhill. For our second visit we went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 concrete mixers. We were told to pull up to the waiting spots so we did. We waited and waited. Someone got out of the car across from us and, very loudly, confronted an employee about how they'd been waiting 20 minutes for 2 concretes. A few minutes later they were brought theirs. We watched while car after car that was behind us received their orders of food and ice cream. It hit the 15 minute mark and we still sat and waited. I decided to go inside and asked for a manager. The manger seemed less than thrilled to have to speak with me. I explained that we'd been waiting for quite some time while others kept getting their order and I was just trying to see what was going on. He turned and asked the people doing the orders and they said it had been sent out. He simply turned around and ignored me after that. I went back out to where my husband was waiting and asked if it had come in the time I'd gone inside and he said no. I went back in and explained that we hadn't received it still. The manager continued to ignore me with his back to me as he was at the window. Thankfully another worker, who I believe was named Jennifer, could tell something was wrong and had them get to work remaking the order. I stepped to the side to wait and though none of it was stated directly to me, from what I overheard I could tell that things weren't running smoothly. It appeared that with so many new employees, they weren't properly writing the order or order numbers on the food (especially the concretes) and thus people were getting things they hadn't ordered. It seemed to be the concrete only orders that were giving them the most issue. Jennifer was extremely apologetic to me as she continued getting orders out and finally after another 10 minutes I received my 2 concretes. I'm thankful for employees like her who seemed to actually care about what was happening and was trying to make it right. I'm still appalled at the manager who just ignored me when there was clearly an issue at hand. I'm thankful another location is being built because I'm not sure we'll return to this one. Between the manager ignoring my issue and then receiving to contact from the store itself after my submitted complaint I'm just not sure this location is worth...

As a connoisseur of fine dining, I approached Culver’s with measured expectations, understanding its position in the pantheon of fast-casual fare. Yet, to my surprise, this Midwestern staple manages to elevate the conventional fast-food experience with an attention to quality that is rare in its category.
The ButterBurger: A Study in Balance
The hallmark of my visit was Culver’s Cheeseburger, a seemingly humble offering that unveils unexpected sophistication upon the first bite. The patty, seared to perfection, maintains an impressive juiciness—far removed from the dry, mass-produced counterparts found in lesser establishments. The buttered, lightly toasted bun adds an indulgent richness, acting as both a structural foundation and a flavorful enhancement.
The cheese, melted seamlessly over the beef, offers a creamy counterpoint to the burger’s savory depth. Accompaniments—crisp lettuce, a delicate slice of tomato, and precisely measured condiments—serve as thoughtful complements rather than overpowering distractions. The balance of flavors is commendable, proving that even in the realm of fast food, restraint can be a virtue.
Crisp, Golden Fries: A Classic Approach
Culver’s crinkle-cut fries present a textbook execution of the genre. Each fry boasts a crisp exterior with an interior that remains soft and yielding—suggesting a keen understanding of fry architecture. The ridges, an often-overlooked textural delight, act as ideal vessels for salt and condiments, ensuring a consistent bite throughout. However, while satisfying, they lack the ethereal crispness or inventive seasoning that might set them apart in a more elevated dining context.
Diet Coke: The Refreshing Accompaniment
A Diet Coke, poured over ice in a well-balanced ratio, serves as a crisp and effervescent palate cleanser. While the formula remains consistent across establishments, the carbonation was notably fresh, ensuring a lively contrast to the richness of the meal.
Final Thoughts
Culver’s successfully transcends the expectations of a typical fast-food experience by championing quality ingredients and careful preparation. While it does not attempt to reinvent the wheel, it refines it, offering a meal that is both comforting and crafted with precision. For those seeking a fast yet thoughtful indulgence, Culver’s presents a compelling option—one that, while casual, never feels careless.
Overall Rating: 4.3/5 A satisfying encounter with fast food done right—executed with an attention to detail that even a fine-dining enthusiast...
Read moreI’m understanding of how it takes a bit to get a new restaurant running smoothly. The first three months are a time of training, learning how to work as a team, and weed out those that aren’t up to snuff. So normally I would not rate so low but observing how the manager at the expo window was speaking to his staff was off putting to say the least, especially in a new store with, young staff that needs guidance and leadership to learn. Right as I walked in to pick up my online order you could hear him snapping at the cook line. He snapped at the cashiers as well. He was obviously busy but that’s no excuse. Busy means money, busy means that manager makes bonuses. There is no excuse for speaking to the staff in that manner.
My food was cold and missing an item as well. The side of mashed potatoes were ice cold. It was an extremely different experience at this location. Every other location the food has been piping hot and order was correct. But again I’ll let this slide because the staff is still learning and having a manager bark at you repeatedly will must definitely make for mistakes.
Advice to corporate. You may want to check in at this location. This manager seems to need some help and leadership himself. Treat others as you would want...
