Nice area, with decently nice restaurants, with great variation; Asian, Italian, a Publix Deli, Gator Dockside Sports Bar, even a Subway! Great place of you're indecisive, and need more than a few choices.
The Publix is of normal quality, slightly smaller than others, with a self-checkout, and InstaCart stalls. Their food is made fresh every couple hours, with friendly staff.
Hibachi Express is quite nice, and offers a student discount for college students, and Traviss Technical School students, as well. Slightly pricey, but nothing out of the ordinary. Food is very good, and offers slightly larger portions than other restaurants. Wait time is a bit longer, though, due to a crowd at certain times.
All the other restaurants in the plaza are nice, not much else to say. The Subway is average, followed by all the other chains in the district. Nothing else to rave about,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHighland City Town Center has so much to offer! Itās much bigger than youād realize just driving by it on 98, and you kind of have to literally drive through it to see all that is there.
Thereās one main bigger building where the Publix is, a Dairy Queen and some other restaurants as well as a physical therapy place and other things. Then there are probably about 5-6 other sub buildings with even more stuff.
Something I really like about this plaza is the food offerings. Hibachi Express is a great hibachi/ sushi place with reasonable prices, Savory Thai has splendid thai food, and Gators dockside has an awesome all you can eat wings night.
There are more fast food options as well, like Sonic and Subway (I guess itās fast?). Thereās a bar, a car wash, a bank/ credit union, Advance Auto Parts and Mavis, a post office, a dentist and more. It really...

I no longer live there although me and my husband, who's also from there, we still frequently go back often to visit and when we 1st saw the beginning of an actual shopping plaza was being built it was shocking and a huge deal not only for us but for all our life long friends who live there to this day. Not only is the plaza very nice and has many different type stores it is what began all the growth which improved so many positive changes for our once happy small town to a wonderfully beautiful...
