Got Thai'd up again today. No nonsense, little strip mall restaurant. Compact with seating for about two dozen. Compact menu with all our Thai favorites. We ordered our usual Tom Ka soup and summer rolls. The Tom Ka had a nice chicken/coconut broth and was loaded with chicken, mushrooms, and pepper. The summer rolls were packed with shrimp, noodles, and fresh herbs. They came with a thick and nutty dipping sauce. The entrees are served in a to go dish if you have left overs just request a top,pop it on and go. The Masaaman chicken served with white rice was outstanding. I tasted cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice in the sauce. Unique to most Masaaman I have had before. I got the curry noodles with chicken, one click under Thai hot. Thin rice noodles with chicken, onion, green and red pepper, and egg in a spicy curry sauce. Our plates came out before our seats were warm. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonable prices. If you enjoy Thai food or want to give it a try, visit Savory Thai.

This place is GREAT if you have food sensitivities. The owner told me they can make any of the fried rice, curries, or the drunken noodles gluten free. I got the gluten free drunken noodles with beef. My husband got the regular fried rice with chicken. We both got drinks that were yummy. The drunken noodles flavor profile was AMAZING! The beef was tender and the vegetables that were added were cooked well too (not too crispy nor too soft). I know I'm definitely coming back here. The service was great when I asked about gluten free too. They were very informative on the subject. Sometimes when you go to restaurants and have a food sensitivity or allergy they treat you differently but Taag had a smile and was so friendly. The restaurant itself is very small. They have tables to eat but more of a take out place unless you get lucky and can snag a table. We'll 100% be back!

My wife and stopped by today for the first time. Im not food critic, so I can’t attest to the food’s authenticity. However, I know when something tastes good, or not.

We were tired of the same old, same old. You know, typical bland, mundane food offerings from most restaurants nowadays. So we thought we would try Savory Thai today, which is located across from Publix, in the Publix Highland City location, right next to the bicycle shop. The interior was somewhat small, with seating for around 15 people, but it looked modern and about all, clean. After perusal of the menu, which has a fairly large selection of varied items, we made our choice of Massaman Curry for my wife, and red curry (ordered with hot seasoning) for myself. Both came with a generous portion of white rice.

Once we started eating our first bite, we both looked at each other and our eyes lit up. This was good! Flavors filled each dish (we tasted each other’s), and the flavor profile was new for us. We couldn’t get over the flavors, and kept talking about how much we loved it. I ordered a side of egg-fried rice w/ carrots and peas also, but it wasn’t needed. The meal portion was plenty for us. Wifey had half left over, because she doesn’t eat large meals. Me? I ate the meal, all of it. The fried rice came home with us for later.

We talked to the owner, while there was a break from pick-up orders, and she was a very pleasant woman, who told me they aren’t a franchise, just a family run business. Savory Thai is cooked to order, so deletions or additions can be made to menu items.

What more is there to say, wonderful food, clean establishment, and friendly, accommodating owner and staff.

We have a new favorite...

Trust that this new local business has earned its great reputation!

Our first visit, we went to celebrate our fifteenth anniversary and were very warmly congratulated by the friendliest staff one could imagine. We immediately felt at home, and were impressed by the sparkling cleanliness of the store. Granted, it's a brand-new space, but it's obvious they go to great lengths to keep it looking fresh and new.

The food...! These folks know exactly what they're doing and produce a lovely array of genuine Thai tastes. My wife tried the Kickboxing Chicken, and I had the Red Curry with Fried Tofu; hers fit her "spice profile" as-is, and I took a chance - being a bit of a chili-head but knowing that Thai spice is very different - and bumped mine up to medium...amazing! The flavors were greatly enhanced and even more enjoyable. The Kickboxing Chicken's inherent spiciness was more than well-balanced by sweet pineapple.

We also had vegetable spring rolls (crispy and accompanied by a lovely sauce), along with chicken satay (so delicious, with a beautiful, tasty peanut sauce).

We weren't sure about the drinks at first, mainly because we'd simply never heard of anything like them, but went out on a limb and tried a pineapple mocktail with coconut jellies (for her) and I got a mango smoothie with strawberry "popping boba;" again, these were quite well-crafted and the flavors were amazing!

Overall, it was quite a lovely experience, with excellent food and wonderful, happy people preparing and serving it; we're so glad they're our new neighbors and can't wait to get back there and try...

From the moment I stepped into Savory Thai, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The menu, a vibrant tapestry of flavors, offered a variety of traditional Thai dishes with a modern twist. I started with the Tom Yum soup, which was a delightful symphony of spicy and sour notes, awakening my palate for the main course.

For the entree, I chose the Pad Thai, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the balance of textures from the peanuts and fresh lime was a masterful touch.

The service at Savory Thai was impeccable. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every aspect of my meal was perfect.

As I finished my meal with a refreshing Thai iced tea boba, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for such a culinary gem. Savory Thai isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a destination for those who appreciate the art of Thai cuisine.

I left with a full stomach and a happy heart, already planning my next visit. For anyone looking for an authentic Thai experience with a dash of culinary excellence, look no further than...
