OK, so I'm not going to rave about the food, mainly because it's fast food... EXCEPT for the ice cream, which is kind of the whole point. In the summer of 1982, I was 14 and my mom took us to aDQ in Norcross, GA (are they still around) after one of my brothers' soccer game. I saw a "hiring" sign, and my mom let me apply, saying it was good practice - never expecting I'd be hired. I loved working there, and we got free meals when we worked a shift, so I worked as often as Mom would let me, haha 😄 In the years between then and now, I haven't noticed a huge change in the food they serve; the burgers are still good, the fries are awesome, I haven't noticed if they're still serving chicken sandwiches, but if they are, I'm sure they're still tasty too. Really now though, who goes to DQ for the food? I mean, if you're going, I can almost guarantee that you intend to get some ice cream. THAT has only changed for the better! They still have MY old favorites, the Peanut Buster Parfait, the hot caramel sundae (who else even sells HOT caramel sundaes? Now, though, they have a MUCH larger selection of ways they serve it; all of them good. Back in the day, there was another ice cream shop that was HUGELY popular because of their 31 flavors; that place has now joined forces with a donut place where they don't have the room to display and serve even HALF of those flavors, but Dairy Queen has EXPANDED their menu and grown their business. They KEPT the soft-serve that was a "hang out" spot in the 70's and 80's, and maintained their good- quality food, and even better-quality ice cream! They also still strive to have excellent customer service. Now, all of that as great as far as I'm concerned, but I noticed something a little quirky last time I was there: they have this sign out front like you'd see them use for advertising specials, but it wasn't good or ice cream they were advertising, it was telling customers that they now offer KARAOKE during the week - I can't remember what night, but it's a week night. I just might have to check it out one night... I wonder if people sing as badly when they're not full of "liquid encouragement"? It'll be fun...

Dairy Queen Customer Support,
I am writing to express my concern and file a formal complaint regarding a breach of contract by a Dairy Queen night manager during my DoorDash deliveries over the past two years. The manager's behavior has consistently violated the terms of our agreement, specifically the aspect of managing and monitoring independent contractors like myself.
The manager in question has repeatedly requested access to my personal phone to verify DoorDash orders, despite the contract stipulating that providing the customer name is sufficient for order confirmation. This behavior not only infringes upon my rights as an independent contractor but also disregards the agreed-upon procedures between DoorDash and Dairy Queen.
I would like to emphasize that, as a DoorDash driver, I am not subject to the manager's authority or supervision, and they have no right to manage or monitor me beyond the scope of the store's operations. The manager's insistence on verifying my phone for orders is a direct violation of the terms of our contract and constitutes an unnecessary and unwarranted breach of my privacy.
I kindly request that Dairy Queen take appropriate action to address this issue and ensure that all Dairy Queen managers are informed of and adhere to the terms of the DoorDash contract. I believe it is crucial to maintain a professional and respectful environment for all independent contractors, and I trust that DoorDash will take the necessary steps to uphold this standard.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution. The picture below is an example how door dash conduct business. They are not asking to see dashers phones.
Sincerely,
DoorDash...
Read moreThe place seems clean. That's about the only positive thing. The quality and service of this place seems to be declining more and more. You will wait forever for your food and if you go through the drive thru you will park and have to wait and not even receive the correct items. God forbid you question the owner/manager about a missing item. He won't even apologize and will act like your lying. The food you do receive will not match the menu and will taste like garbage. If it were up to me I would stop going but unfortunately my kids love it. Even there blizzards aren't good anymore. Oh and if you want extra dressing that's an extra .30. Absolutely ridiculous. How this place still open I have no idea. I will attach a screenshot of the salad I ordered and what I actually received. It consist of one chicken strip, no bacon, and barely any cheese and your only allowed one dressing. Going to try and convince my daughters to go elsewhere as I really don't want to waste my money here anymore. Sorry but this place is an...
