Ok so we ordered the Mongolian chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, pork fried rice, beef on a stick and crab Rangoon. Decided on Chinese food last minute and boy what a mistake! Mongolian chicken was 80-90% onions which weren't even cooked all the way. Had to dig around to find a piece of chicken. Crab Rangoon was ok but tasted very greasy, I know they are fried but the grease taste was just not tolerable. (Old oil in the fryer)? The beef on a stick which is usually my favorite Chinese appetizer was not only tough and chewy but tasted like it had cinnamon in it. Never had that and not a good taste. The pork fried rice was very bland, even with adding soy and duck sauce it was just not up to par with what I am used to. Ok so now comes the fun part. The shrimp with lobster sauce tasted pretty good, had large shrimp and was the only thing I really ate. All was going good until around 3AM where I found myself in the bathroom. This happened several times throughout the day. Had to cancel dinner plans with friends. Never have we been so unhappy with any experience involving food. I called the restaurant the next day to explain my situation. The manager (I believe) asked me what they could do for me, I suggested we split the bill (half of the total bill of $32.00) and we could part ways. This was rejected with a chuckle and I was offered a chance to get some different food for my trouble. Needless to say I refused. I will have to say the delivery was very fast and the delivery person very friendly and professional. I will NOT be ordering food from this place again. I suggest you look for a different restaurant to...
Read moreI've never in my life had to deal with such poor and... bizarre... customer service. I ordered for delivery a number of items including one of the specials, orange beef... not so special. Chewy and had way too many orange rinds in it. Practically inedible. Also ordered the chow mein and vegetables which is what I called in to complain about. What came was a big tub of slimy vegetables. Absolutely NO chow mein noodles. It had a few been sprouts, no noodles. When I politely told the lady who answered the phone that they had mixed up my order and all I got was vegetables, she told me that it was impossible. I politely told her once more that it was just vegetables with a few sprouts, she then began a screaming match in another language with the other employees in the back for what felt like 30 minutes directly into the phone. Didn't put me on hold... after a few minutes of us listening and laughing at the insanity, I asked if she was okay. It genuinely sounded like they were about to physically fight eachother. She screamed AT ME, flustered and in tears at this point, "I'm going to have to ask that you bring in the order so we can take a look at it because we are all very confused here because that's impossible"... really? It's impossible for you to have possibly messed up my order and I'm just a liar? ... I told her to forget it and that it wasn't worth all the stress and chaos they turned it into. She hung up. MY GOD!? I'm left baffled and dissapointed. Can't say I'd...
Read moreWhy isn't no stars an option? That is what this place deserves. The first few times we ordered from this place, we thought the food was decent. Not great, but better than some Chinese food we've found in Florida. We would call in an order and pick it up so we were in and out very quickly. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it), the last time we ordered from there, we went in and ordered and waited while they made it. Their kitchen practices are absolutely DISGUSTING and we will never go there again. First, one of the cooks was outside smoking when we arrived. He then went in and began cooking without washing or putting on gloves. Next, the owner's little boy was in the lobby. We watched him pick chewed gum off the bottom of his shoe and then go back to preparing vegetables with his bare hands. Finally, the other cook used his bare hand to wipe sweat of his forehead (flinging it into a bowl of noodles) and then picked up a big handful of lo mein noodles by hand (again, no washing or gloves). The floor and counters in the kitchen looked filthy and raw meat was left on the counter for who knows how long. There were a lot of flies buzzing around in the kitchen. Needless to say, we will definitely not be returning. Their kitchen practices are akin to eating out...
