I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a highly unprofessional experience my child and I had with a staff member at the following location (17826 Aprile Dr Land O' Lakes, FL 34638) on 8/24/2025.
We called the restaurant three times to inquire about a product (the "Superman meal"). During the first call, my child politely asked a question, but the staff member whom he spoke with abruptly hung up without any explanation. I called back myself to address this behavior and express that it was unacceptable to hang up on a child trying to ask a question. Shockingly, the same staff member hung up on me as well. On the third attempt, I called again to express my frustration and was told by the same individual that he was "too busy" before ending the call once more.
Due to the repeated unprofessionalism, I drove to the restaurant’s drive-thru. The same individual who answered the phone appeared to be the one taking orders. When I asked to speak with a manager, he claimed to be the manager himself. I explained the situation and stated that hanging up on customers is unacceptable. He denied receiving any phone calls and was dismissive and rude when I pointed out that he sounded exactly like the person we spoke to. I informed him that our conversation was being video recorded and asked for his name, which he refused to provide.
At this point, I informed him that I would no longer be purchasing anything from this location and would be taking my business elsewhere. I am extremely disappointed by the way we were treated — especially given that a child was involved — and I feel this experience falls well below the level of professionalism and customer service one should expect. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed seriously. I would appreciate a response regarding how you plan to address the conduct of the staff...

The service my brother and I received went above and beyond! Unfortunately I don’t recall her name. However she was EXTREMELY understanding & helpful assisting us during our visit for a birthday cake! My brother is on the autism spectrum and does not make decisions for himself. He needs assistance/guidance . He wanted to get a cake for me ,but to surprise me with the details on it. The lady employee came over to the cake section as we were discussing a way to get it done. She inquired about our need of a cake. I explained our situation and politely asked if after he chose a cake, she might be able to move it to the counter & place it in a bag. That way he picks it out and I still am surprised. She stated how she understands his disability & would be happy to help him. I stepped outside believing she was only moving the cake to the counter and into a bag so I would not see. However,she not only helped him to pick the cake out, but also to place a food order (which he had never done by himself by looking at a menu) she assisted with the payment,and even getting his drink at the soda fountain!! As he walked outside I had assumed I was needed to grab the cake ,but she was right behind him bringing the bag out to me. The smallest of things can be a big thing for some others.
